Lucknow University B.Ed Admissions 2020: Entrance Exam, Dates, Application Process

Lucknow University has invited applications for admission to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) for the academic session 2019. Candidates can register for admission to 2-year B.Ed program through the official university website by submitting the required application fee and filling the form with all the relevant details.

Students seeking admission must satisfy the relevant eligibility criteria and will be shortlisted on the basis of marks scored in the entrance exam, conducted by the  Lucknow University. The admit card for the B.Ed entrance exam can be downloaded from the official website with the help of the application number.

Applicants need to submit the application form before the last date of registration for the B.Ed program along with the required application fee of INR 1000 (For General/OBC students) or INR 500 (For SC/ST candidates). Eligibility Criteria

B.Ed

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India and should be minimum 17 years old.
  • Candidate must possess graduate degree with at least 50% aggregate of marks from a recognized university.
  • Candidate who possess BE or B.Tech degree can also apply for the exam provided they have obtained at least 55% marks with Science and Mathematics as their subject.
  • Candidates belonging to reserved category will be given a relaxation of 5% in the required aggregate of marks.


How to Apply

B.Ed

Application form for JEE-B.Ed entrance exam can be filled in the following steps: 

  1. Visit official B.Ed registration portal, click on ‘Candidate Registration’ link.
  2. Fill all the particulars in the Online Registration Form. 
  3. A confirmation page with a unique nine digit Registration number will be generated.
  4. Visit Submit / Update Application Fee / Reprint e-Receipt link.
  5. Then, candidate should submit the fee online (Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/RTGS/NEFT) through the Payment Gateway website or Choose Cash Deposit through E-Challan.
  6. After successful fee payment click on ‘Submit Application Form’ link and enter the Registration Number, Transaction number / Reference Number along with the date of birth.
  7. Fill the required information upload colour frontface photograph and signature in jpeg format. 
  8. Before final submission of application form, kindly preview all the information filled up to this point and then finally submit the application form.
  9. Take the printout of this final form for further correspondence.

Note: Applicants do not have to send the copy of the application form by post. They have to retain the application form and bring it along with the admit card when they come for counselling.

  • Candidates can download the admit card for JEE-B.Ed entrance exam from the official university website with the help of application number.
  • Candidate should keep the hard copy of the admit card with themselves at all times during the entrance examination.

Sir I have scored 194 marks in JEE B.Ed. and I belong to general category....Is there any chance of admission in LU for B.Ed.??

Hi Ragini, the university has not stated the marks for admission in university, rather it has declared opening and closing rank for admission. Thus, kindly mention your rank in the exam so that we can provide you the relevant information.

Hi Riddhi, 50% marks is the eligibility criteria for B.Ed course. Relaxation of 5% is given to the reserved category candidates.
