Following are the conditions which are to be fulfilled by the applicant to become eligible for IGNOU B.Ed admission:
Admission to the B.Ed program is entrance-based conducted by the university at different centers all over India. The applicants are required to submit a filled-in application form along with copies of mark sheets as prescribed in the application form. The original documents are to be presented at the time of admission, after the entrance exam.
The final selection of the students for admission is done after the entrance exam is conducted and on the day of admission, the candidate has all the documents necessary for admission.

IGNOU B.Ed entrance is an online exam based on multiple-choice questions. The exam duration is of 1 hour with no provision of negative marking. The consists of General English Comprehension, Logical & Analytical Reasoning, Educational & General Awareness, etc.

IGNOU releases the admit card for the entrance a few days before the exam date. The admit card is released on the official website itself. Students are provided with a 9-digit enrollment number to download the admit card. The admit cards are available only for those students who have successfully submitted their IGNOU B.Ed Application form for the entrance exam.

The result is announced region-wise on the official website with both the score-cum-rank mark and the total marks obtained by the student.
