Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) Mumbai offer admission in PhD Programme with several specializations. Admission to Ph.D programme will be based on a written examination conducted by ICT. NET/JRF/SET qualified candidates will get preference.

How To Apply

Application form can be submitted online through the official website of ICT Mumbai.

  2. Click “Apply”
  3. Enter required personal information
  4. Type academic details
  5. Upload scanned photograph ((Must be less than 40 kb)
  6. Enter entrance examination details
  7. Upload self attested scanned documents
  8. Pay application fee of INR 1000/- (general category) and INR 500/- (SC/ST category) through Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card

Course Wise Eligibility

  • Bachelor degree (12+4) in Engineering/ Technology/ Pharmacy or an equivalent
  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering/ Bioprocess Technology/ Chemical Technology from any branch at ICT/ Pharmacy/ M. Tech. Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering or any other UGC recognized university
  • At least 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST category) secured in the qualifying examination.

Admission Process

Admission to Ph.D in ICT Mumbai will be based on the written entrance test and interview.

  • Merit list for written test will be uploaded in the official website of ICT according to qualifying exam
  • Eligible candidates will be allowed to appear for the written exam
  • Candidates will be called for interview and document verification
  • Final merit list will be uploaded by ICT on the basis of written entrance examination
  • Candidates have to submit Demand Draft of programme fee in favor of Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai for confirming seat allotment
