BFUHS MBBS Admission 2017

BFUHS (Baba Faridkot University of Health and Sciences), Faridkot, Punjab, is a State University and was established by the Punjab Government in 1998. The university consists of 6 faculties. Government of India has recognized the MBBS, MD, MS, PG Diploma, BDS, BSc (Nursing) and M.Sc. (Nursing) Programs, which are offered by the university.

BFUHS has 8 medical colleges affiliated to it which offers MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) Program. Duration of the course is 5 years and total number of seats are 1000 (approx.). For admission to MBBS, candidates must have qualified NEET. Last date to submit BFUHS application form is July 11, 2017.

  • BFUHS MBBS Application forms are available only in online mode and can be downloaded from official website i.e.
  • Application fee of INR 5000 for General category and INR 2500 for reserved category candidates, can be paid through online as well as offline mode.
  •  Last date to submit application fee is July 12, 2017
  • Counselling process will take place after the declaration of BFUHS MBBS merit list.

Counselling will include document verification process and the process will be followed by Candidate’s seat allocation based on his/her preference of colleges.

BFUHS MBBS 2017 Eligibility Criteria


Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below

  • Candidates belonging to unreserved category must have secured more than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the10+2 examination and PWD (General) will get a concession of 5%.
  • Aspirants belonging to SC/ST/OBC and PWD category have to secure a minimum of 40% marks in 10+2 examination.
  • Candidates applying must have a valid NEET 2017score
  • Candidates must be a domicile of Punjab
  • Applicants must be more than 17 years of age on December 31, 2017
  • Candidates must be medically fit. They have to submit a certificate of medical fitness

BFUHS MBBS 2017 Application Process

Candidates who are eligible for admission to BFUHS MBBS program, they must visit the official website of BFUHS i.e. . Application process consists of 4 steps i.e. Registration, fee submission, Uploading of documents and printout of application form. Step-wise BFUHS MBBS application process is given below.

Step 1 Registration

  • Candidates must register themselves first by providing all the necessary details i.e. personal details, educational qualifications and valid NEET result.
  • After  successful registration of BFUHS MBBS application form, candidates will receive a Registration No. and Password on their mobile and Email address

Step 2 Fee Submission

  • After successful registration, aspirants will be asked to submit their application fee
  • Fee can be submitted through online as well as offline mode.
  • Application fee for SC/ST/PWD category is INR 2500 and for General category it is INR  5000 
  • Application fee can be paid through Bank Challan generated after Registration. . Fee deposited though Bank Challan will be confirmed in your log in after 2 day.
  • Online Application fee can be paid through online net banking. 

Step 3 Uploading of Documents

  • After payment submission, candidates must upload their recent photograph and impression signature. Name of the Candidate must be printed at bottom of uploaded photograph along with date
     Note: Size of the photograph must be 25kb
  • Candidates must also upload the following documents
  1. Matric certificate(for age proof)
  2. NEET result card
  3. Reserved category certificate (if applicable)

Step 4 Printout of application form
After successful submission of the application form, candidates can take the printout of it.
Note: There is no need to send duly filled ion application form to the institute.

BFUHS MBBS 2017 Selection and Counselling Process


Selection to BFUHS to MBBS program will depend on the following criteria

  • Candidates must have a valid NEET 2017 score.
  • The merit list of BFUHS MBBS Admission 2017 will  release on  July 16, 2017
  • Only those candidates whose name will appear in the merit list will be eligible to appear in the BFUHS counselling process 2017 as per the allotted rank.
  • Counselling will be in two rounds and first round will commence from July 17- July 21, 2017. Result of first counselling will be published on July 24, 2017
  • Counselling will consist of the document verification and allotment of college to the candidates as per their preferences.
  • Interested candidates must confirm their seats by submitting the course fee before July 31, 2017.
  • Second round of counselling will start from August 8, 2017 and will continue till August 13, 2017
  • List of the shortlisted candidates will be displayed on July 18, 2017
  • Aspirants must submit their fee before August 25, 2017.

Note: There will be no entrance examination for admission to BFUHS MBBS
