Indira Gandhi University Meerpur provides Undergraduate courses in multiple specializations viz. Hotel Management, Technology, Pharmacy, and Law.

Admission to the UG courses is based on a valid score in the Entrance exam (as specified by the university). IGU requires the candidates to score at least 50% marks at SSC(10+2) level in order to be eligible for entrance. 

Indira Gandhi University facilitates applicants to apply online for admission. Indira Gandhi University UG Admissions Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of various courses offered by the University are tabulated below, check here:

Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology(10+2) with at least 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized board
B.Pharmacy10+2 with at least 50% marks where physics and chemistry are compulsory subjects and maths/ biology/ Computer science as other subjects.
B.Pharmacy (LEET)D.Pharm. course from an institution approved by the pharmacy council of India
B.Tech (CSE)10+2 with at least 45% marks from a recognized board with physics and maths as compulsory subjects along with anyone subject namely chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology.
B.Tech (Lateral Entry CSE)At least 45% marks in aggregate in Diploma in Engg. /Technology of a duration of 3 years or more.
LL.BBachelor/Master degree with at least 45% marks in aggregate

Indira Gandhi University UG Admissions Selection Process

Different courses have different selection process set up by the university. The selection process for various courses is given below:

B.PharmacyAdmissions will be based on performance in the Entrance exam.
B.Pharmacy (LEET)Academic merit will be the only basis for the selection of candidates.
B.Tech (CSE)Admissions will be made on the basis of the inter-se-merit of JEE Main.
B.Tech (Lateral Entry CSE)Only academic merit will be taken into consideration for admission of candidates to this course.
LL.BSelection to LLB will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the entrance exam.

Indira Gandhi University UG Admissions Application Procedure

Candidates need to submit the hard copy of their filled-up application form to the concerned departments. The steps to fill up the application form are as follows:

  1. Go to the IGU official website i.e.
  2. Click on the ‘Admission’ link and further on ‘Click here for online admission’.
  3. Then click on ‘I have read the instructions and wish to “apply online”
  4. The application form will appear, fill it and take a printout of the filled-in form.
  5. Along with the printout, attach all the documents and send them to the concerned departments of the university.

Required Documents

Documents are important for verification of candidature. The documents are as follows:

  1. Valid Id Proof such as driving license, passport, voter id, etc.
  2. Aadhar card
  3. Mark sheets of 10th, 12th and last qualifying examination
  4. Scanned copy of recent passport size photograph in jpg format and size not more than 300KB.

Application Fee

Candidates need to pay the application fee of INR 800 (for general candidates) or INR 200 ( for Schedule Caste/Backward Class and Economically Backward Persons of Haryana). Payment will be made by challan of HDFC Bank once the application form is filled successfully.
