IIIT Naya Raipur (Indian Institute of Information Technology, Naya Raipur) is one of the IIITs, established by the International Institute of Information Technology University Act, 2013 of the Government of Chhattisgarh. It is a joint venture by Chhattisgarh State Government and NTPC (National Thermal Power Corporation). It is one of the prestigious institutes of India that offers admission in various UG and PG courses in Technology Field.
University offers admission in B.Tech courses in 2 different disciplines B.Tech (ECE) and B.Tech (CSE). There is an intake capacity of 60 seats for each program. The registration has started already. Eligible candidates can apply on the official website of IIIT Naya Raipur. The selection is done on the basis of JoSAA counselling and merit.

To seek admission in IIIT Naya Raipur B.Tech program, candidates must fulfill the complete eligibility criteria given below. Admission to B. Tech. programs is based on JEE Main rank. There are three different categories through which students are admitted.
Candidates born after October 01, 1992 are only eligible to apply for this program. There is relaxation of 3-years for reserved category candidates (SC/ ST/ OBC). Date of birth as recorded in the secondary education board will only be considered.
Candidates seeking admission under All India Quota must apply through JoSAA. Applicants are required to visit the JoSAA website for registration i.e. josaa.nic.in. JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) will conduct counselling for the candidates who have qualified JEE Main as well as JEE Advanced.
While registering, candidates have to fill their preferred selection of colleges and courses. JoSAA registration and choice filling form was available online. The counselling procedure is based on the merit of the candidate in the written exam and the options filled by the candidates at the time of online option filling.
Students seeking admission under Chhattisgarh quota and NTPC quota must apply through the institute’s online portal i.e. iiitnr.ac.in/content/btech-admission. Offline applications or applications via email will not be considered. Applications received after the due date will not be accepted.
Candidates applying for admissions will be required to submit a non-refundable counseling fee of INR 300, it can be paid in online mode. Based on the online applications received, merit lists based on JEE Main rank, will be published for each category.
Admission to regular B.Tech programs will be purely based on the merit list generated from JEE Main ranks published by JEE. The admission process consists of the following stages:
(a) Online application
(b) Document verification
(c) Round-wise online provisional seat allotment
(d) Seat acceptance
(e) Reporting at the institute for final admission
Candidates who will qualify JEE Main as well as JEE Advanced will appear in counselling process which is conducted by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). To participate in JoSAA students must register themselves on the official website of JoSAA.
JoSAA will conduct the seat allocation procedure for the academic programs offered by 92 JEE Main Participating Institutes. JoSAA will conduct the multiple rounds of seat allotment. Aspirants who will be allotted seat in first round of seat allotment by JoSAA will report to the nearest reporting center for documents verification. After the documents verification, candidates have to contact to the admission authority of IIIT Naya Raipur within 10 days of seat allotment for admission formalities.
Remaining students will appear in the second round of seat allotment. Once completion of admission process.
Documents required at the time of JoSAA Counselling:
Once, registration is done, candidates have to appear in seat allotment process. Candidates who will be allotted the seat in first round of seat allotment have to have to report at their nearest center for document verification. At the time of documents verification students have to presents all the required documents mentioned below original with photo copy.
Applicants who will not allotted the seat in first round of seat allotment, have to wait for second merit list and appear in the second round of seat allotment to the students. The further process will be same as other candidates.
