Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani is one of the best private technological university in India. University offers programs at all the levels of education i.e. Undergraduate, Post-graduate and Doctoral-level programs. The university follows “No Reservation Policy” for admission. BITS have in total 4 campuses situated in Goa, Dubai, Hyderabad and Pilani.
BITS, Pilani provides admissions to Integrated First-Degree Program courses such as B.E., M.Sc and B.Pharmacy. The last date to register for BITSAT-2020 will be first week of March 2020. The minimum eligibility criterion is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with 75% aggregate marks. Candidates need to apply online on the official website. Selection of candidates will be based on the performance in BITSAT.
M.Sc. is a four year integrated course offered by the university after 12th.

University has set up eligibility norms for shortlisting of candidates. Through BITSAT admissions are granted. Eligibility criteria must be checked before applying for admissions. The eligibility criteria set up is as follows:
To be eligible for admission under the 'Direct admission to Board toppers' scheme, the candidate must be the topper from the science stream having taken Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics subjects in 12th. To identify the topper, the following criteria will be adopted. The topper is the student who fulfills the following criteria:
B.E (Hons) is a degree where admission will be given on the basis of BITSAT score.
Candidates can appear in BITSAT 2020 if they have passed 10+2 examinations or appearing in this session. They need to apply online indicating program preferences. The steps to apply are as follows:

Applicants applying under ‘Direct Admission to Board Toppers’ Scheme must attach documentary proof in support of their claim, along with the 12th mark sheet and a letter from the Board declaring the candidate as the topper in the specified stream.
Application form is duly accepted only after the payment of application fee. Applicants need to pay INR 1000 for applying to Integrated First Degree Programs.
Students will be granted admission in B.Sc, M.Sc. and B.E. on the basis of BITSAT score. Admissions will be based purely on the merit of Entrance exam. The merit position of the candidate for admission will be based on the score obtained in BITSAT-2020. The BITSAT exam is an online mode exam with 150 multiple choice questions. The exam is divided into 4 sections i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and English. Every correct answer will be awarded 3 marks. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
The Institute will give direct admission to first rank students of all the central and state boards to the program of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT-2020 score.
While the first rank student in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics stream will be considered for admission to any of the first-degree programs of his/her choice. The first rank holder of Physics, Chemistry, Biology stream will be considered for admission to B. Pharm. program only.
