Rajasthan University UG Admission 2020: Important Date, Eligibility, Application Form

University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, offers admission in Undergraduate course with 14 specializations. Selection to all the UG courses except for LL.B and BPA programme is based on the marks obtained in 10+2.

LL.B admission is done on the basis of valid score in ULET conducted by the university while BPA admission is based on an aptitude test

The minimum eligibility to apply for the any of the courses is 10+2 qualification.

Application form can be filled through the official website of Rajasthan University ( Application fee of INR 100/- should be paid through Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card.

University publishes the combined merit list to shortlist the candidates for admission to UG courses.

Application Process

Application form can be filled through the official website of Rajathan University.

  3. Register by entering email id and password
  4. User id and password will generate 
  5. Login with the user id and password
  6. Enter requires peesonal information
  7. Type academic qualification
  8. Upload scanned photograph and signature
  9. Upload required documents
  10. Pay the application fee of INR 100/- through Net banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card

Rules for UG Programs:

  • 5% marks will be deducted while switching to other program. For instance, seeking admission from Science to arts/commerce.
  • 5% marks will be deducted of the students who have done vocational studies and are seeking admission to B.A and B.Com courses.
  • If a student fails in one faculty, he/she may change the faculty provided they have satisfactory general conduct and practice. Such students will be considered as new entrants. Faculty change is not allowed more than once.
  • If student have passed their first year being a regular student and second year being a non-collegiate student are also eligible to appea in third/final year of the same course if they have an agregate of minimum 50% marks in second year.

Note: For B.Lib & Inf. Science, candidates working in the libraries of Rajasthan with an experience of 3 years or with a Diploma in Science are also eligible for admission.

Selection Process

Selection to LL.B and 5-year integrated BA LL.B is done on the basis of performance in ULET and RULET  respectively conducted by University of Rajasthan. Selection to BPA is based on an Aptitude Test conducted by the university. Selection to the rest of the courses is based on the merit of the qualifying examination.

  1. Merit list of selected candidate will be uploaded by the University according to the marks secured in qualifying examination
  2. University will invite selected student for documet verification 
  3. Report to the alloted college with original documents
  4. Document verification and payment of programme fee will confirm admission

Hi Abhishek, application forms for all the UG courses have been already released on May 15, 2019 and the process will end on July 2, 2019 (tentatively).

Hi Shreya, admission forms for all PG courses are likely to be available from June 2019. Admission will be based on merit/interview/entrance exam conducted by the university.

Hi Shruti, no, mathematics is not compulsory to be eligible for B.Com Hons. Students with 60% aggregate in intermediate from a recognized board are eligible for admission. Application forms will be made available from June 1, 2019 (tentatively).

Hi Vikash, As per basic rule you will not eligible for appear M Com final but 1% you need to contact with a university that they will give a chance or not.
