Christian Medical College was established in 1894. It is the first medical school for women in Asia which offers undergraduate, post-graduate, and research based courses. The college offers MBBS, 66 post-graduate diploma & degree medical courses, 35 Allied Health Science courses, super specialty medical courses, Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and diploma courses in nursing & other fields, Fellowship courses and PhD courses.
Christian Medical College provides admission to 66 post-graduate diploma & degree medical courses. The duration of PG Degree courses is 3 years and PG Diploma courses is 2 years.

Note: NRI candidates must apply separately using the NRI application form available on the website.
Candidates need to attach the copies of the documents. Original documents will be required at time of counselling. Documents to be enclosed with the application form for verification are as follows:
Candidates need to pay INR 3900 only through online mode. In online mode, candidates can pay through credit card, debit card or net banking. No other modes of payment will be accepted.
For NRI candidates, application fee of INR 25000 must be paid by using appropriate online payment mode.
Note: Application fee once paid will not be refunded.
Selection of candidates will be based on merit list prepared on basis of National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET-PG) score and Additional Marks (45 Marks). Candidates must submit the NEET Scores to CMC Ludhiana before the last date to be in Merit List.
Additional Marks (45 Marks)
Additional marks will be given to candidates who have worked in hospitals as below:
|Satisfactory completion of minimum of 2 years of MBBS service obligation, after MBBS, for graduates of CMC Ludhiana, duly certified by the Medical Superintendent of the concerned hospital/center||20 Marks (2 years)|
|Completion of 2 years of service in a Government Primary/Secondary Health center located in a Rural area; letter issued by the Medical Superintendent, duly certified and attested by the Village Officer/Tehsildar and the District Medical Officer/Civil Surgeon.|
|Satisfactory completion of work in any peripheral hospitals managed by a member of the CMC Ludhiana Society, duly certified by the Medical Superintendent of the concerned hospital/center|
|Candidates who have passed PG Diploma in an institution recognized by the MCI (Proof of passing is to be submitted)||5 Marks|
|Satisfactory completion of 2 years of service (not part of service obligation) in CMC Ludhiana and all its outreach (peripheral) hospitals; duly certified by the Medical Superintendent and deputy Director, Missions, CMCL.||20 Marks (2 years)|
