Eligibility criteria will be based upon the pattern under which candidate has pursued the qualifying examination. The pattern will be chosen by the candidate at time of form filling. The patterns are CBCSS Pattern (Max grade point 4), CBCSS New Pattern (Max grade point 10) and Pre CBCSS Pattern (Based on Marks). The eligibility according to these patterns are as follows:

Selection of candidates will be based on the Rank List which is prepared on the basis of qualifying examination.

Deduction in Marks
Handicap mark of 5 will be deducted from the total rank marks for each additional appearance he/she has taken for completing the qualifying examination. Number of chances means the number of chances for passing any part of the qualifying examination excluding cancellation.
