Indian School of Business offers seats in YLP program (Young Leaders Program). YLP is a foundation program that ultimately leads to the Financial Times ranking, PG Programme in Management at the Indian School of Business.

The registration for admission to YLP program is done in online mode. There are three stages. First stage candidate has to apply by sending application form, fee and one essay. In Second stage selected candidates will be judged on basis of GMAT/ GRE score, then they have to write 2 essays after that they will face evaluation.

The third stage is interview round.  Candidates have to qualify all the stages of selection process to be shortlisted for admission to YLP program in ISB.

Indian School of Business YLP Application Process

  • The registration is done in online mode only. Students who wish to apply can submit the application form on the official website of the school.  Applications received after the due date will not be accepted.
  • Applicants are advised to make sure that, all the information which is mentioned on the application form must be correct and similar with the information of original documents.
  • Students have to mention a valid email address or phone number on the application form. Further information regarding admission process will be sent by email.
  • At the time of application form submission candidates have to pay an application fee. It can be paid in online mode through net banking, credit card and debit card.

Key Note: The amount of application fee is non-refundable.

  4. Login after the confirmation of email
  5. Fill application form with all the required information
  6. Upload the scan copy of signature and photograph
  7. The image size should not be more than 50K
  8. Verify all the information and save application form
  9. Pay application fee either of the available mode
  10. Take the print out of application form for future reference

Indian School of Business YLP Eligibility Criteria

To seek admission to YLP program in Indian School of Business, candidates have to fulfill the complete eligibility criteria prescribed by the school.

  • Students should have graduation or post-graduation degree from a recognized university or institute.
  • The minimum marks required to be eligible for admission is 50%.
  • Candidates also should have qualified any of the entrance exam GMAT or GRE.

Indian School of Business YLP Selection Process

  • Shortlisted candidates on the basis their GMAT/ GRE score will be called for interview round.
  • The interview is held in face to face format.
  • Qualified candidates in interview round are required to go for document verification process.
  • At the time of document verification process candidates have to bring all the required documents.


GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a national level online test (Computer Based Test). GMAT is conducted by GMAC for admission to more than 5400 programs in various Business Schools around the world.

The exam evaluates four basic skills- Verbal Ability, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Analytical Writing. The question paper consists of total 90 questions. Students need to attempt all the questions in the duration of 3 hour 30 minutes.

GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is an internationally standardized test which is required for admission to most of the graduate schools in United States of America. It is also accepted by some of the most popular Graduate and Business schools in various countries of the world.

The exam is held in online (Computer Based Test) as well as offline (Pen and Paper Based) mode. The duration of the paper is 2 hour 30 minutes.
