NITIE Mumbai PGDIM PGDISEM Admission 2020: Dates, Cut Off, Fees

National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) started off as an Industrial Engineering institute but now also offers full-time Fellow Program in Management/ Fellow Program in Industrial Engineering, PG programs and many more.

 NITIE offers PG level courses such as Post-Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM) and Post-Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environmental Management (PGDISEM) which are AICTE approved.

  • The registration begins by the First week of November and lasts till the Second week of January.
  • Candidate must be full-time graduate with 60% aggregate marks.
  • Indian candidates must have a valid GATE score whereas GMAT Score for International students.
  • Application process is completely online.
  • Indian and SAARC candidates must pay INR 1000 whereas International candidates must pay USD 50.
  • Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of CAT/GMAT score and further called for GD & Personal Interview.

NITIE Mumbai PGDIM PGDISEM Application Form

Candidates can register online on the official website. The registration window closes by second week of January. The steps of application procedure are as follows:

  • Visit the official website
  • Click on ‘Admissions’ tab and further on ‘PG Admission’.
  • A new window appears depicting ‘Apply Online’ link, click it.
  • A registration window opens and candidates need to register themselves.
  • After registration, a unique user ID and password will be sent to registered mobile no and Email.
  • Login with the login credentials and fill up the application form.
  • Upload scanned copies of photograph and signature.
  • Preview the complete filled up application form and submit it.

Application Fee

Application fee of INR 1000 for Indian candidates and SAARC country candidates and INR 500 in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates.
The application fee will be paid through online modes such as credit card, debit card or net banking. For International candidates, USD 50 need to be paid.

NITIE Mumbai PGDIM PGDISEM Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the university, to seek admission to NITIE PG courses. the eligibility criteria are as follows:

For Indian Candidates

  • Candidate must be graduate in any of the branches of engineering or technology
  • Must have an aggregate of 60% marks and a valid CAT Score
  • Candidates appearing for the final year of Engineering/ technology can also apply
  • In case of SC/ST/PWD candidates, aggregate marks are relaxed by 5%

For International Candidates

Candidates must be a full-time graduate in any branch of Engineering/ Technology with 60% aggregate marks. A valid GMAT score is also needed. Candidate must have a valid test of English as a foreign language (TOEFL) score or The International English Testing Service (IELTS) score.

NITIE Mumbai PGDIM PGDISEM Selection Process

Candidates will be judged on three aspects which are

  • Scores in CAT or GMAT examination
  • Group Discussion
  • Personal Interview

Firstly, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their CAT/GMAT scores. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group discussion and Personal interview.
