Indira Gandhi University, Rewari offers M.Tech and MCA programs with duration of 2 and 3 years respectively.  Application form for admission to both programs are filled online.

Aspirants are requested to fill the application form and submit it online along with an e-challan of INR 800 (For General Candidates)/ INR 200 (for SC/ST candidates).

The basic eligibilty required for admission to MCA and M.Tech program offered by  Indira Gandhi University is 50% marks secured in the qualifying examination.

Indira Gandhi University MCA & M.Tech Admission Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are required to fulfil a pre-defined criteria in order to secure the admission to the university.  The eligibility criteria for the courses is as follows:


  • A bachelor degree with at least 50% marks (for General Candidates) / 47.5% marks (SC candidates) from any recognized university with mathematics as one of the subjects.

MCA (Lateral Entry)

  • Candidates must have secured atleast 50% marks (47.5% for SC) in 3 years Bachelor’s degree in BCA or B.Sc with mathematics as a compulsory subject in 10+2 or at graduation level.

M.Tech (Computer Science & Technology)

  • The basic criteria for admission is B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Engineering/ Information Technology/ Electronic Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering)or an equivalent degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
  • Candidate must have GATE score/ University Entrance Test Score.

Indira Gandhi University MCA & M.Tech Admission Application Procedure

The application process for admission to Indira Gandhi University is online, however, candidates are required to send the duly filled form (as downloaded from University website) enclosed with necessary documents to the respective departments. The steps to fill the application form correctly are as follows:

  1. Visit the official website of university i.e.
  2. Click on ‘Admission’ link and further on ‘Click here for online admission’.
  3. Click on ‘I have read the instructions and wish to “apply online”
  4. The application form will be displayed on the screen, fill the form.
  5. Take a print-out of the filled-up application form.
  6. Along with the printout, enclose all the documents and send to the respective department to the address of correspondence.

Required documents

Documents are important to avoid rejection of application form. The documents to be attached with the application form are as follows:

  • Valid ID Proof such as driving license, passport, voter id.
  • Aadhar card
  • Marksheets of 10th, 12th and graduation.
  • Recent passport size photograph scanned in JPG format and size not more than 300 KB.

Application Fee

Application fee of INR 800 for general category and INR 200 for SC/ST category needs to be paid through challan. The challan will be generated at the time of form submission.
