Sharda University is located in Greater Noida Delhi NCR, India. It was established in 1996 by Sharda Group of Institutions (SGI).

Sharda University (SU) offers admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs.

University offers an MBA (Master of Business Administration) program in the following disciplines.

Sharda University invites applications in both online and offline modes. Candidates can register through any of the modes. Students have to pay an application fee of INR 1000/- at the time of the registration process.

The selection is done on the basis of the entrance test namely SUAT, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview. Applicants need to qualify all the stages of the selection process to be eligible for admission to the MBA program at Sharda University.

NOTE: Candidates who have obtained at least 65% marks in CAT are exempted from SUAT similarly who have secured minimum 75% marks in MAT exam are also exempted from appearing the SUAT exam.

Sharda University MBA Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who will successfully qualify the complete eligibility criteria are only eligible to apply for admission to the MBA program.

Students are advised to check eligibility criteria given below before applying for the program. MBA aspirants must appear for SUAT.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students must have a graduation degree in relevant discipline with a minimum score of 50% marks.
  • There is a relaxation of 5% marks for reserved category candidates SC/ ST.
  • The candidates must possess English Proficiency.

The candidates who possess the following qualifications are exempted from SUAT:

  • MAT with 75% percentile or above score.
  • CAT/XAT with 65% percentile or above score.

The candidates who fall in the above-mentioned category must appear for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Sharda University MBA Selection Criteria

The selection process consists of three stages. Those who will successfully qualify all the stages of the selection process will be considered for the admission process.

  1. Entrance Exam “SUAT
  2. Group Discussion
  3. Personal Interview

The candidates must secure a minimum of 35% marks to qualify the SUAT exam.

Exam Pattern

The Entrance Exam will comprise of 100 questions which will test the aptitude of the candidate in the following areas:

Duration: 90 minutes
Test Centre: University Campus, Greater Noida

Selection Criteria:

  • Applicants must appear for the entrance test i.e. SUAT.
  • Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Entrance Exam.
  • Followed by the Group Discussion round.
  • Selected candidates will undergo a Personal Interview round.

The applicants who successfully clear the PI round must carry the following documents:

  • Photocopy of 12th marksheet
  • Photocopy of 10th marksheet
  • Photocopy of the scorecard for JEE/UPSEE/MAT/CAT/XAT/ATA/LSAT or any other entrance examination.
  • Photocopy of ID Proof (Aadhar Card/Pan Card/ School Certificate).
  • Original Registration Payment Receipt
  • 3 Passport size Photographs

Selected applicants must deposit the fee through Cash/DD at the Sharda University campus or pay online through challan within 15 days of selection.

The applicants must report and enroll/register themselves at the Administrative Office as per the dates notified by the University.

Sharda University MBA Registration Process

The registration is done online as well as offline. Candidates who wish to apply can submit the application form on the official website of the university and obtain the same from the admission office of Sharda University.

Online Mode

Candidates who want to apply through online mode are required to visit the university website and submit their applications. At the time of application form submission, students have to pay an application fee of INR. 1200/- It can be paid in online mode through net banking, credit card, and debit card.

Steps to Apply Online:

  • Visit the official website and click on the “Admission” portal.
  • Register and fill in all the necessary information.
  • Upload the scanned copies of all the required documents.
  • Save application form.
  • Pay the application fee through Net Banking or Credit/Debit card.
  • Submit the application form.
  • On successful submission, the Login credentials will be generated.
  • Take the print out of application form for future reference.

Offline Mode

To apply through offline mode, candidates need to obtain the application form from the admission office of Sharda University.

  • Fill in the application form with the correct information.
  • All the information which is filled on the application form should be correct and verified with original documents.
  • Submit the duly filled-in application form along with all the required documents and demand draft of INR.1200/- at the following address:

After the submission of the form, the candidates can book their exam slots and generate their Admit Cards.

The applicants must carry two copies of the hall ticket along with a valid photo identity proof (Aadhar/PAN card) to the examination centre.
