B. Tech. course has been offered at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru, Coimbtore (Ettimadai) campuses of Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham University. Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) 2019 will be conducted in online as well as pen-paper mode.
As an aspiring student looking for admission in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, you must know the faculty-student ratio which is 12 students per faculty. As per University’s guidelines first three rank holders of state board examination will be eligible for 90% relaxation in tuition fee for all the three campuses. In the same way first 10 rank holders of CBSE & ICSE board will get 90% fee relaxation provided they have to maintain at least 7 CGPA in the subsequent years of B. Tech. course.
Age Limit: Student must be born on or after July 01, 1995.
Students must have passed 10+2 with aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. A student must have obtained at least 55% marks in each subject.
Or students who have completed three year diploma in related engineering field approved by state board of Technical Education with 60% marks are eligible.
Note: Those students who are going to appear for 10+2 exam in month of March/ April are also eligible to apply.
Students can appear for AEEE 2019 through online or offline (OMR application) mode for Online & Pen-Paper based test both.
To apply online for AEEE 2019 you have to login to www.amrita.edu. Click on the ‘Apply Online’ link.
Now enter all required details & pay the requisite application fee on INR 1000 through net banking.
Offline Application (OMR sheet based):
Students can obtain the application form from sale outlets namely Post office, Dhanlaxmi bank & Federal bank after payment of INR 1000 through cash.

Students can also obtain the application form from the exam conducting authorities associated with Coimbatore, Bengaluru & Amritapuri campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
Students have to send the requisition letter (written request) to Coimbtore campus with self-addressed envelope along with the Demand Draft of INR 1000 drawn in favor of ‘Amrita School of Engineering’ payable at Coimbtore.
Or they can obtain the Application form direct from any of the three campuses of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham on producing the Demand Draft of INR 1000.
Note: Students must note that they have to write “B. Tech. application’, their name & mobile number on the back side of the Demand Draft. Also keep the photo copy of Demand Draft & application form for future requirements.
You should use HB pencil to fill the bubbles & Black ball point pen to fill the details in the form as it will be read by Optical Ink Character Reader at later stages.
Do not put any stray marks on the application form. Provide information in the space provided only.
Application will be processed at Coimbtore campus only so, you need to send the application form to the Coimbtore campus only.
Put the duly completed application form in the pre- addressed envelope & dispatch it to the campus.
Application Process for NRI students:
Although the application process is same as that for Indian nationals provided NRI students have to mention the address in India for all correspondence purposes.
Rank list will be prepared for shortlisted students who have performed well in AEEE entrance.
Counselling schedule along with the merit list will be uploaded on the University’s website. Students have to download the counselling call letter from website itself.
Students can attend the counselling in any of the three campuses of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeethamaccording to their convenience.
A certain number of seats have been reserved for those students who have completed their 10+2 standard from the state in which university is located.
Each & every student has to pay INR 5000 as counselling charges, which is nor-refundable.
After seat confirmation (before seat allotment) students have to pay INR 50, 000 as part of tuition fee.

Marks sheet of class 12th
Admit card of class XIIth examination & AEEE hall ticket.

With drawl from admission & Refund of fee:
If students who have admitted to B. Tech. programme applied for admission with drawl just before the commencement of classes then their fees will be refunded after deduction of INR 1000 as processing fee.
In case of with drawl from admission after commencement of classes but before closing of admission, fee refund will depend on two cases:
If the vacant seat has been filled by another student before last date of admission then university will revert back the collected fee after making deductions of monthly fee.
If the vacancy will not fill then fee will not be refunded under any situation.
In case of with drawl after closing of admission no fee will be refunded.

10% students out of total in each branch in any of the three campuses have been awarded with tuition fee waiver scheme ranging from 90% to 25% depending upon the rank obtained in AEEE 2019.
