Online
Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala is a UGC approved university which offers 300 academic programmes at undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and research level all over India. The university also offers Distance Programmes for both course levels i.e. U.G and P.G programmes through its School of Distance Education.
The following programmes are offered by MGU through distance learning mode:

For admission to distance learning programmes of MGU, candidate must register through online application process. As for the selection process, candidate will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination to be conducted by the university.

Eligibility (Common for the above mentioned courses):
Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination.
B.Sc. Medical Psychology:
Eligibility: Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with physics, chemistry and biology (PCB).
B.C.A:
Eligibility: Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with maths as one of the subjects.
B.Lib.Sc.:
Eligibility: Candidate must possess university degree.
MA , M.Sc & M.ComM.A. Arabic:
Eligibility: Candidate should possess graduate degree with English in faculties of Arts, Science, Social Sciences, Oriental Studies or Fine Arts.
M.A English:
Eligibility: Candidate must possess B.A. degree with English.
M.A Hindi:
Eligibility: Candidate must possess B.A. degree with Hindi.
M.A Malayalam:
Eligibility: Candidate must possess B.A. degree with Malayalam.
M.A Sanskrit:
Eligibility: Candidate must possess B.A. degree with Sanskrit.
M.A Arabic:
Eligibility: Candidate must possess B.A. degree with Arabic.
M.A Economics:
Eligibility: Candidate must be Graduates in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or B.Sc. in Co-operation and Banking from Kerala Agricultural University.
M.A History:
Eligibility: Candidates must possess University Degree in Social Science/English Language & Literature
M.A Islamic History:
Eligibility: Candidate must possess graduate degree in Social Science
M.A Philosophy:
Eligibility: Candidate must possess graduate degree in Philosophy, Arts, Social Science, Sciences.
M.A Political Science:
Eligibility: Candidate must possess University degree in Politics, History, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Law, Journalism, Public Administration, Geography, Archaeology, English or other Social Sciences.
M.A Sociology:
Eligibility: Candidate must possess a graduate degree in any discipline.
M.Sc. Mathematics:
Eligibility: Candidate must possess university Degree with Mathematics/ Statistics as main subject.
M.Com:
Eligibility: Candidate must possess B.Com. degree.
M.B.A.:
Eligibility: Candidate must possess graduate degree in any discipline.
M.C.A.:
Eligibility: Candidate must possess graduation degree in any field.
LLM:
Eligibility: Candidate must possess LL.B. degree with 45% marks or 3 year practice in a Court of Law along with LL.B. degree.
For admission to any of the UG & PG programme under distance learning mode, candidate can apply for Private Registration. Applications for registration and examination can be obtained from the University website “www.mgu.ac.in”.
Cost of Application forms and fee:
If candidate is not matriculated from MGU, they should submit amount of INR 100. If matriculated from outside state of kerala, amount of INR 150 should be submitted by the candidate.
