Kerala University offers several undergraduate programs including BBA, B.Sc., BA, BA(Hons.), B.Com., BPA, BSW, BA Music, BFA, B.P.Ed, BPA, B.Des., B.P.T, BASLP and B. Pharm. While many of these are merit based, several of them provide admission through an entrance test conducted by the University itself.
The courses are based on the Choice Based Credit and Semester System and all programs except B.P.Ed and BFA are called First Degree Programs. The admission to these courses are based on Online Central Allotment (OCA), and this process will provide an opportunity to apply to any of the colleges affiliated to Kerala University. You should apply to the course before the closure of the registration deadline, which is the same for all categories.
The allotment will strictly depend on the merit of the candidate for the First Degree Programs.
For Programs of BFA, B.P.Ed., BPA, B.Des. and BA Music, an entrance test and aptitude exam is conducted.

Candidates must have passed higher Secondary Examination of the state or an equivalent exam, with the subject opted for as one of the main subjects.BA

Admission to the course will be based on the following criterias:
Allotment of seats:

The rest of the seats will be filled by the Educational Agency by the candidates that they choose.
There are several reservations that are considered during the allotment of seats:
The certificates to be produced by students under the reserved category are mandatory. It should be done during the online registration.
You will be required to produce all original documents at the time of admission to verify your claims made in the online application form.
Candidates belonging to the SEBC category will have to produce a community certificate and a Income certificate.
The merit of a student, i.e. the marks scored in the qualifying examination in programs will be counted for the admission to various courses. Having an NCC/NSS certificate in a course helps the student to secure bonus marks.
