Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham UG and PG Admissions 2020: Courses, Application Form, Entrance Exam, Fees

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham invites candidates for admission in UG and PG programs available in their various campuses. The University was established in 2003 and since then has flourished into five campuses: Amritapuri, Bangaluru, Coimbatore and Mysore. The University has total of 15 schools which provide over 150 different courses.

The selection to UG courses is based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the Entrance Exam that is conducted by the department of the course opted by the candidate. The shortlisted students will then go through a counselling session, and an interview to determine the selected candidates. The selection to PG courses would mainly be on the basis of marks scored by the candidate in the previous qualifying degree. The shortlisted students will then go through an interview. The application forms are available at the University's website. Candidate must carefully fill the form and submit it along with the registration fee.

Application Process

  • The application form can be obtained from the University website or can be submitted online.
  • In online application, the registration fee would have to be paid by Net Banking/credit/debit card.
  • The forms can also be downloaded and sent via post. In such case a demand draft in the favor of "Amrita Vishwapeetham" payable at Amritapuri will have to be sent along with the application.
  • The registration fee for M.C.A. course is INR 650 for UG programs is INR 400 and for PG courses is INR 500.

Eligibility Criteria

Offered at Amritapuri campus:

Candidate should have a minimum of 60% in English.

Note: These courses are also offered at Kochi & Mysore campus.

Admission Process

The candidates have to go through an entrance exam conducted by the various departments of the University for their respective Degree.

The selection will be based on the rank scored by the candidate followed by counselling and interview.
