The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University (TNMGRMU) is a government medical university and is the 2nd largest health sciences university in India. The university has different departments which offer a multitude of medical courses at undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and doctoral level.
TNMGRMU offers UG and PG courses in Indian Medicine and Homeopathy to those who possess the relevant eligible degree. Admission to the above mentioned programmes is done through marks secured by the candidate in the university entrance examination.
The University offers the following UG and PG under the Faculty of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy:
B.N.Y.S Naturopathy and Yoga
M.D. (Siddha) (in 6 disciplines)
M.D. (Homeopathy) (in 4 disciplines)
M.D. (Naturopathy & Yoga)
Candidates can register themselves through online application process upon submitting the prescribed application fee of Rs.1100/- and Rs.1400/- for UG and PG courses respectively, along with completed relevant original certificates. Check TNMGRMU Admission
Candidates can fill the online application form available at the university website and submit it along with the required fee to complete the registration process
Candidate must submit the registration fee for application and eligibility certificate of Rs. 1100/- for UG courses and Rs. 1400/- for PG courses through online payment gateway. The application and eligibility certificate fee is non-refundable
For NRI candidates:
Candidates who have passed advanced level qualification and central board examination in foreign countries can also submit application and eligibility fee amount of Rs. 10,100/- through Demand Draft (DD) in favour of The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.
Candidate should be of Indian origin settled in foreign countries or should be born to parents of Indian origin in a foreign country. Candidate seeking admission under NRI quota must possess Indian passport

Candidate must have studied physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Botany and Zoology in his/her 12 years study of Higher Secondary Course Examination.
Following is the required aggregate in Biology/ Botany and Zoology, Physics and chemistry together for candidates belonging to different category:
Candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before getting admission to Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy UG courses.
Selection of the candidates to the above mentioned UG and PG programmes will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination, conducted by the university.
