Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) offers a full-time undergraduate programme in Co-operation and Banking. It also offers post-graduate and doctoral courses. One is eligible to take admission B.Sc (Hons.) Co-operation and Banking through a merit-base.
This course is offered by in the Faculty of Agricultureat the College of Co-operation, Banking & Management situated in the main campus of the KAU. The duration of this course is 4 years. The number of seats offered by the university is 34, while the number of seats offered by Indian Council of Agricultural Research(ICAR)is 6.
Admission to this 4 year programme is strictly merit based and requires the candidate to have scored a minimum of 50 % in their 10+2, in the branch of Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

You should have passed your 10+2 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% in either the combination of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The University accepts just the passing marks in the qualifying examination in case of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
Sports Quota is also available to candidates under the recommendation of the sports council after the submission of a hard copy of the application to the sports council.
Age Limit: You should be 17 years of age or more by June 15, in order to be eligible to apply to this course.

Step 1: Submit the online Application filling in all the details carefully and take a print out of the same. Print out the application along with the self-attested copies of proof of age certificate, educational qualification and experience. Proof of community and income certificated should also be printed and attested in case of students applying for the reserved category.
Step 2: Remember to attach the counterfoil of the Pay-in-Slip or the Demand Draft with the print out of the application.

In Case of Foreign Students:
The Foreign students should apply through their respective embassy/mission. The Ministry of Education would henceforth arrange for admission through ICAR. It is mandatory for the student’s VISA to be approved by the Government of India for a student VISA and not a tourist VISA. The eligibility certificate issued by the University will be sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs to convert the tourist visa into a student’s visa.
In Case of Out of State Students:
If you seek to apply from another state than Kerala, you should apply to ICAR, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi through your respective state government. In Union Territories of Andaman/Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands, seats are reserved for ethnic natives of those states. No restrictions will be imposed on the students apart from the ones prescribed with regards to the qualifying examination and percentage and other general requirements.
Admission to B.Sc.(Hons.) Cooperation and Banking coursewill depend on the rank list that will be prepared on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained at the level of the qualifying examination, i.e. 10+2. In case of a tie of marks, those who have secured higher marks in the relevant subjects will be preferred. If the tie still exists, the elder person will be allotted a higher rank.
The 40 seats offered in the course are divided accordingly:

If any seat of the reserved quota is not occupied then the seat will be automatically added in the State Merit. The seat that is un-availed by the SC candidates will go to ST category and vice-versa.
