Azim Premji University offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. At postgraduate level, Azim Premji University offers a full-time LLM program in Public Policy and Governance. The duration of LLM course is 1 year. The university also offers 2 years full-time MA in 4 specializations viz. Education, Development, Public Policy & Governance, and Economics. Applications can be made online on the Unversity website by remitting an application fee of INR 500 in favour of Azim Premji Unversity for Development website via PayU Money. Last Date to apply is January 22. 

Admission Tests are conducted in 30 cities and interviews at 15 locations across India, providing easy access.

Application Process

Applications to MA and LLM programs of Azim Premji University can be made in Online Mode by visiting the University. Check the procedure given below to successfully submit the application:

  1. Visit Azim Premji University Homepage.
  2. Click on ‘Apply now’.
  3. Register online with e-mail ID, mobile number and date of birth.
  4. On successful registration, an email will be sent to your registered e-mail ID with login credentials to access the form and complete it online.
  5. Fill the application form correctly and remit INR 500 via PayU Money. 


  1. Scorecard of 10th, 12th, graduate degree.
  2. LSAT/ CLAT score (LLM Regular).
  3. Experience Letter (if applicable)

Note: 50% Tuition fee waiver will be provided to students having 3 years of Work Experience.

Selection Process

The selection process for the Postgraduate Programme (LLM And MA) includes an entrance test and a personal interview.

National Entrance Test:  Written-test will assess the Reading Comprehension, Reasoning and General and Social Awareness of Examinee.

Personal Interview: candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the entrance test, you will be called for a personal interview. Work experience will have an additional weight in the interview process.
