Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research is a “Deemed to be University” also accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). BIHER offers several courses varying from undergraduate course to post-doctoral courses in Arts & Science, Engineering, Management, Medicine and Dental Science. Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research offers 65 post graduate courses, 51 Undergraduate courses, 5 research programme, and 6 integrated courses (5 year). 

Admission to undergraduate courses will be based on performance in BEEE entrance examination conducted by University.

Along with these courses the University provides various undergraduate medical and dental courses such as MBBS, BPT and BDS respectively through the entrance examination of AICEE 2019. The application process closes as per the date mentioned.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Com , BCA & B.Sc

  • You must have passed 10+2 exam or equivalent from any recognized board.
  • You should be a resident of Indian national and should have studied in India in 10+2 years for admission in undergraduate programme.
  • Candidates who have appeared for 10+2 or equivalent examination will be permitted to take the Entrance Examinations provisionally. The candidates should have appeared for the qualifying examination before taking the Entrance Examination.

Age Limit: You should have completed 17 years of age as on the December 31, 2019. There is no upper age limit for Entrance exam. No relaxation in the minimum age will be allowed.

Note: If you have appeared/are appearing in your final qualifying examinations in this year, then you are also eligible to apply. In case, you are appearing for compartmental/improvement examinations in this year then you cannot be eligible to apply for any programme.


How to Apply?

There are three ways to apply for all UG course in BIHER. No matter what mode you choose but your completely filled application form should reach Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research.

Online with e-payment: Step wise Instruction

  1. Visit the admission portal of Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research .
  2. Sign up as new user.
  3. An activation link will be sent to the registered e-mail id that you used while signing up.
  4. Click on the activation link by logging in your email account.
  5. The link will take you to the login page of Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research
  6. Enter your user id and password to login.
  7. Once you have logged in, carefully fill up the application form.
  8. Upload your picture and signature. (Picture should not be more than 100 kb, and signature must not exceed 20 kb).
  9. Check on the box to accept the terms and conditions.
  10. Click on the Save Application icon.
  11. Select the mode of payment which can either through Debit Card or Credit Card or NEFT.
  12. Once you pay the application fees, you need to save your acknowledgment slip for future referral.

Online with Demand Draft:

You need to visit the official website and download the application form and take a printout.

You need to fill the application for in BLOCK LETTERS using a blue or black ball pen. Do not use pencil while filling up the form. You need to order a demand draftof Rs. 900 drawn in favour of Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research payable at Chennai.

Admission Process

The selection of students under the courses B.COM, B.Sc., BA, BCA and BBA will be on merit basis as published on the rank list by the University.


Note

Scholarships

  • 100% tuition fees granted as scholarship to top 50 rank holders in BEEE 2019
  • 100% tuition fees granted as scholarship to state toppers of state boards and students securing above 95% marks in the board examinations
  • 50% of tuition fess is granted as scholarship to 51-150 Rank Holders in BEEE exam.
  • 25% of tuition fess is granted as scholarship for Ranks of 151-250 in entrance conducted by BEEE
  • 100% of tuition fess is granted as scholarship for students participated/ won in National sports and events
  • 50% of tuition fess is granted as scholarship for students participated/ won in state level sports and events
  • 25% of tuition fess is granted as scholarship for students participated / won in district level sports and events.
