Vinayaka Mission University invites all the applications for admission in Post Graduate Degree Programs for this year’s academic session. VMU offers M.Sc (Nursing), M.Pharma and M.P.T program at the postgraduate level. M.Sc Nursing is available in 5 specializations and each specialization has a seat intake of 7. M.Pharma program is offered in 6 specializations and each discipline has 15 seats for admissions. M.P.T program is offered in 8 specializations and has a total seat intake of 50.

The admission to various Bachelor’s and Master’s programs are offered by the Vinayaka Mission University is done based on an appropriate All India Level Common Entrance Examinations (CEE) conducted by the University every year. The process of CEEs and admission cover offers Post Graduate Degree programs offered by the University in its various institutions.

Application forms for applying to VMU can be through the following 3 methods - In Person or by Post or the same can be downloaded online from the official website. Eligibility

  • BSc Nursing or its Equivalent/ B.Sc. Hon. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% marks from any institute recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
  • Candidates must be a registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Council.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of one-year work experience after Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) and a minimum of one year experience prior to or after PB.B.Sc. Nursing.
  • 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates will be given.

How To Apply

M.Pharm , Master of Physiotherapy(MPT) & M.Sc (Nursing)

There are 3 ways of procuring application material for admission to PG programs in Vinayaka Mission University, the following are the ways:

  1. In Person – Candidates may apply by directly remitting the cost of the application material in cash or demand draft at the notified sale counter.
  2. By Post - An application request can be made a sending request along with the demand draft which should include notified extra amount covering postage.
  3. VMU Website: Applications can be downloaded from the official website of the University.

    Photocopies of the following self-attested documents are to be submitted along with the application forms:

    1. Qualifying Examination Certificate( Degree / Diploma/ Provisional)
    2. Qualifying Examination Mark sheets
    3. Transfer certificate and Conduct certificate from the Institution last studied
    4. Birth Certificate or Class 10th Mark sheet
    5. Community Certificate (if applicable)
    6. Experience Certificate (if applicable)


    Selection Process

    M.Pharm , Master of Physiotherapy(MPT) & M.Sc (Nursing)

    All the applications recieved by Vinayaka Mission University will be analysed and all eligible candidates will be called for Entrance Test. Hall Tickets / Admit Cards for the relevant CEE will be sent to the designated adress of the applicant.

    The University publish the merit list on the official website and examinees will be ranked as per their marks in CEE, breaking ties if any using the prescribed process.

    Candidates procuring above a prescribed cut-off mark will be called in sufficient number for counseling in which Specializations / Branches and Institutions of study will be selected by the candidates and provisionally allotted, as per availability, eligibility, reservation if any, etc., after verification of original certificates.

    The provisional selection will be confirmed and the candidate will be admitted on payment of fees. Subsequent counseling may be arranged for filling seats that may remain unfilled or fall vacant, before the last date for completing the process.

    Notes

    About Common Entrance Examination(CEE):

    • The questions in the CEE are of objective type based on minimum syllabi expected to be covered normally by the various universities / boards pertaining to the respective qualifying examinations at all India level. 
    • There are negative marks for wrong answers in the case of PG program.
