Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) Integrated MBA Admissions 2020: Courses, Dates, Result

Madurai Kamaraj University, popularly known as MKU is a deemed public university in India, with over 18 schools comprising of 72 departments and 109 affiliated colleges so far.

MK University provides 2 Integrated courses which covers graduation along with post graduation in a period of 5 years. Admissions to the Five year Integrated M. Tech. and M.B.A programmes is through aggregate marks of 10+2 examinations only.

Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) consists of various schools which provide the following integrated programmes:

  • Integrated B. Tech – M. Tech (Film and Electronic Media Studies)
  • Integrated B.B.A – M.B.A (Tourism and Hotel Management)

How to Apply

  • Candidates can download the application form available at the official university website and fill in the relevant details.
  • Candidates should also submit the registration fee of INR 600 for each programme. However, SC/ST candidates need not pay any fee if opting for any one course and INR 600 for two courses. The payment should be made through Demand Draft (DD) in favour of, The Registrar, Madurai Kamaraj University, and payable at Madurai.
  • Candidate should also attach the photocopies of the following documents duly attested by the gazetted officer with the application form:
  1. Certificates of 10th and 12th examinations/Intermediate Bonafide Students Certificate obtained from the Head of Institution
  2. Community Certificate obtained from Tahsildar or Deputy Tahsildar
  3. Income Certificate of 3 months prior to the date of advertisement from the competent issuing authority (for SC/ST/Blind Candidates only)
  4. Certificate of the physically handicapped candidates of the specialty concerned, from an authorized medical officer which should be of the level of Civil Surgeon along with the photos showing the nature of the handicap.
  5. Ex-Servicemen certificate
  6. Candidates of the sports category should present the certificate of representing the state/nation.
  7. 2 self-addressed, stamped envelopes of INR 10 each should be enclosed.
  8. Affix two recent passport size photographs, one on the specified column in the application from and one on the hall ticket.
  • If selected, candidates have to submit the original and photocopies of the following documents:
  1. 10th and 12th marksheet
  2. Transfer Certificate
  3. Conduct certificate from the Head of Institution last studied
  4. Community certificate
  5. Income Certificate of 3 months prior to the date of advertisement from the competent issuing authority (for SC/ST/Blind Candidates only)
  6. Special category relevant certificate

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate should have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary Examination)/Intermediate Examination or its equivalent from a recognized board of education
  • Candidate should not be more than 21 years of age as on July 1, 2019. Although there are some exemptions for this rule:
  1. A relaxation of 5 years is given to the physically handicapped candidates
  2. A relaxation of 3 years is given to female candidates and SC/ST/BC/MBC/DNC candidates beyond 21 years of age for the admission.

Admission Process

Candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of 10+2 examination marks and the list of the selected candidates will be uploaded on the official website of the MK University.
