M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSRUAS) UG & PG Admission 2019: Courses, Cut Off, Fees

M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSRUAS) invites all candidates to join their Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses by following direct mode of selection procedure. The University was established in December 2013, although it was formerly inaugurated in March 2014, under the act of the state of Karnataka. MSRUAS is sponsored by the Gokula Education Foundation (Medical) trust. To make the University, the institutions like M S Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies, M.S. Ramaiah College of Hotel Management, M.S. Ramaiah College of Pharmacy, M.S. Ramaiah Dental College, and the M.S. Ramaiah Advanced Learning Center were integrated.

The University has a total of 7 faculties with 34 academic departments, and 6 Directorates. It is currently not accredited by NAAC as the University has not yet had two batches of graduates. The University provides a fair chance of internship in a foreign country like UK, Germany, France, Russia, Czech Republic, and in the US. Check MSRUAS Admission 2019

The University does not hold any entrance exams for the following programs. The admission is granted on the basis of the marks scored by the candidate in his 10+2 or equivalent exam (for Undergraduate courses) and merit in marks of Graduate Degree (for Postgraduate courses). Eligibility Criteria

Note: Visual Communication and Fashion Design are not offered for the academic year 2019.

Eligibility: The candidate must possess a Second Year Pre-University degree or must have completed 10+2 or a technical diploma or equivalent examination.


Duration: 4 years

Seats: 120

  • Regular mode: The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized institution with a minimum of 40% (35% for reserved categories) marks.
  • Lateral Entry: The candidates who want to take admission directly to 2nd year must have a one year certification in either Food and Beverages or Room Division, along with a pass in 10+2 level. If the certification is via a distance course, the candidate must also have a minimum of 1 year experience in hospitality sector.

Eligibility: The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology, Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, Science, or Allied disciplines related to Industrial Product Design.

Note: This eligibility is for Product Design only as it is the only course offered in the year 2019.

Eligibility: The candidate must have a MBBS, BDS, Nursing, or equivalent degree with at least 50% marks.

  • The candidates can download the application form from official website of MSRUAS.
  • Demand draft of INR 1,000/- is to be sent along with the filled application form.
  • The demand draft is to be made in favor of 'M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences' payable at Bangalore.
  • The form, the demand draft, an attested copy of the marksheet of 10+2, and copy of Undergraduate degree (for postgraduate courses)  are to be sent to:

Admission Process

BHM , MHA & M.Com

  • The candidates are chosen on the basis of the marks scored by them in their 10+2 or equivalent exam (for Undergraduate courses) and their Undergraduate degree marks (for postgraduate courses).
  • Counseling will be organized at the University campus. The candidates are required to attend the counseling along with their copies of marks.
  • After counseling, the students will be chosen on basis of their marks and their preferences. The documents of the selected students will then be verified.
  • After submitting the documents, the students would then have to fill the fee for their respective courses.
  • The following documents (original + 3 copies) are required during the admission:

  2. Address Proof (Aadhaar / DL, etc.)
  3. Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / DL, etc.)
  4. Class X or SSLC Marks Card
  5. Class XII or PUC Marks Card
