Vinayaka Mission University MD,MS and MDS Admissions 2018

Vinayaka Mission University offers MD,MS and MDS and other UG & PG Programmes. The admission to various bachelors and masters programmes are offered by the University is done based on appropriate All India Level Common Entrance Examinations(CEE) conducted by the University every year. The process of CEEs and admission cover offers M.Phil. and Ph.D. Degree programmes offered by the University in its various institutions.

VMU invites all the applications for admission in MD,MS and MDS  Degree Programmes for this year’s academic session. Last date to apply for these courses is January 21, 2018 (tentative). The Common Entrance Examination that will be held on January 29, 2018 (tentative).

Eligibility Criteria

MD

Every candidate must: -

  • Possess a recognized MBBS/BHMS degree or its equivalent and have completed Internship (CRRI)
  • Have registered his/her name with anyone of the State Medical Councils

MS

The University offers 3 Years MS programmes in following specializations:

  1. General Surgery
  2. Orthopaedics
  3. Opthalmology
  4. E.N.T.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates seeking admission in M.S. must have a MBBS degree or its equivalent from a recognized university.

MDS

The University offers 3 years MDS course in following disciplines:

  • Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge
  • Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
  • Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics
  • Oral Pathology and Microbiology

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate should have passed BDS Degree Examination of any recognized University and obtained permanent registration from any of the State Dental Councils.


How to Apply?

MD , MS & MDS

There are three ways of procuring application material for admission to MD/MS and MDS programmes in Vinayaka Mission University, the following are the ways:

  1. In Person – candidates may apply by directly remitting the cost of the application material in cash or demand draft at the notified sale counter.
  2. By Post - candidates may apply by sending request with demand draft which should include notified extra amount covering postage.

The filled in application forms complete with attested photos, signed declarations, required enclosures etc shall be submitted in person or by post, so as to be received by the addressee January 21, 2018 (tentative).

Selection Process

MD , MS & MDS

Admission to MD/MS and MDS programmes will be totally based on performance in entrance exam conducted by the University. The Entrance exam will be held on January 29, 2018 (tentative).

About Common Entrance Examination(CEE):

  • The candidates who are eligible as per the criteria of the university are enabled to take the CEEs at opted centers. 
  • The questions in the CEE are of objective type based on minimum syllabi expected to be covered normally by the various universities / boards pertaining to the respective qualifying examinations at all India level. 
  • There are negative marks for wrong answers in the case of PG programmes.
