Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech/MBA/M.Sc & MA Courses

Educational Qualification: Students must have passed B.E/ B. Tech. in related field with 55% marks in aggregate.

User facts:

  1. Students with PG degree in Physical, Chemical or Life sciences who have studied Mathematics at least up to +2 levels are eligible to apply for M. Tech course in Nanotechnology.
  2. M. Sc. in Physical/Chemical sciences students are also eligible to apply for M. Tech. course in Environmental & Water Resource Engineering.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in any discipline with 50% marks.
  • Priority will be given to those, who have work experience & more marks in qualifying exam.
  • Final year students are eligible to apply provided that they will complete their qualifying exam with at least 60% marks.

M.Sc Mathematics

Students must have passed B. Sc. Mathematics/Applied sciences/Applied Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate.

M.Sc Chemistry

Students with B. Sc. Chemistry/Applied sciences/Applied Chemistry/Bio chemistry/Textile Chemistry or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate.


Students with Bachelor degree with English as one of the subject with 50% marks are eligible to apply.

Post Graduate Diploma (PG Diploma)

  • Advanced Manufacturing Technology

Students with B.E/B. Tech. in Mechanical with 50% markts in total are eligible to apply.

Note: This course will be offered by department of Mechanical engineering of   Karunya University in collaboration with Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI) Bangalore. Students will pursue 1st semester at Karunya University campus & second at CMTI.

  • Petroleum & Natural Gas flow Measurement & Instrumentation

Seats: 20 per batch

Students with B.E/B. Tech. in Mechanical/ Electronics & Communication/Chemical/Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation with 50% marks are eligible to apply.

Note: This PG Diploma course has been offered in collaboration with Fluid Control Research Institute (FCRI) Palakkad in Karunya University. Students will pursue 1st semester at Karunya University campus & second at FCRI.

User facts:

  1. In case any student would not be able to give KMAT, an exclusive test will be organized by Karunya University at 55 designated centres all over India
  2. In MBA trimester programme students will complete 1st year at Karunya University & 2nd one at Indian Institute of Logistics, Chennai.

Shortlisted students will be called for written test followed by interview. They will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in different section out of 100. 50/25/25 marks for UG degree, Admission test & Interview respectively.

 Scholarship Details:

Scholarship options provide financial help to the students provided that they must satisfy the laid down criteria to avail the benefits.

Online mode:

  • Application fee of INR 750 (INR 3000 for foreign nationals) can be paid through net banking/Demand draft/Credit or Debit card.

Note: Demand draft should be made in favor of “Karunya University” payable at Coimbtore.

Offline mode:

To apply in offline mode you have can obtain the Application form from:
