BLDE University MBBS Admissions 2019: Courses, Application Process, Result, Fees

Established in 1910, BLDE University is a UGC certified deemed university providing quality medical education. The university association runs a total of 68 institutions in both rural and urban areas of Bijapur. All the Medical courses offered by the University are recognized by MCI i.e. Medical Council of India.
BLDE University is amongst the reputed universities in Karnataka providing education in various medical courses. The university offers MBBS course through the Faculty of Medicine to its students every year.
Only candidates with the relevant qualifying degree can register for the MBBS programme. Seats are reserved for people belonging to different categories such as SC/ST/BC etc. as well as special categories viz. Differently-abled.
Candidates can register for admission to MBBS programme by filling-in the online application forms and submitting it along with the required processing fee. Admission to the MBBS Degree programme is done on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the University Entrance Examination viz. BLDE-UGET. Check BLDE University Admission 2019

Candidates should have completed Higher Secondary Course (10+2) examination with physics, chemistry, biology/biochemistry and english as a compulsory subject under CBSE or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto. The candidate must have passed these subjects individually.
Candidate must have scored minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination i.e. 50% for general category candidates, 40% for SC/ST/OBC and candidates with 40 to 70% disability of lower limbs must secure 45% of marks.
How to Apply
Candidates must apply for admission through online registration process and submit completed application before May 20, 2019 (tentative). All fields in the application form should be correctly and completely filled-in with the relevant information.
Candidate should log on to the university website and follow the given steps:
Fill all the necessary required details and upload the following scanned documents:
Photograph & Signature. The scanned images of Photograph and Signature should be in jpg format only and it should be less than 1 MB.
10th Class marks card: Upload the scan image of 10th class marks card issued by the board.
12th Class marks card: Upload the scan image of 12th class marks card issued by the board (note: if already passed the examination)
Caste / Category certificate: Upload the scan image of SC / ST / Locomotor Disability[as per in information brochure] / OBC[Karnataka only i.e. Category 1, Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B] issued by the competent authority.
Submit the application fee of Rs. 2000 through the available online payment modes or through DD in favour of ‘Registar, BLDE University’ and payable at Vijaypur-586103, Karnataka before starting online application entry.
Upon successful payment, click on “Submit”. The candidate must download and print the completed applications for future references.
Completed applications, along with the online payment receipt/ DD and Two Additional Passport size colour Photographs should be sent to the following address:

BLDEU-UGET TAT Card
BLDEU-UGET Rank Card & Counselling Letter
SSLC/SSC/10th class Marks Card and Passing certificate
Birth Certificate issued by the competent authority if SSLC/SSC/10th class certificate does not contain proof of date of birth.
PUC II year or 12th Standard or equivalent examination marks card and Passing certificate.
Migration Certificate (wherever applicable)
Character and Conduct certificate.
Study certificates for Ten Years (between 1 st standard to 12th standard)
Authentication letter from the College where the candidate has completed 10+2 or PUC-II or HSC (APPENDIX I).
Candidate and Parent PAN Card Copy.
An affidavit in the format as per APPENDIX - II signed by candidate and countersigned by Parent/Guardian in the presence of Public Notary on a stamp paper of Rs. 100/-
Three Recent passport-size coloured photographs with name and date.
Candidates claiming Admission under SC / ST / Locomotor disability category and OBC (Karnataka state only) as declared by Government of India / Karnataka shall furnish the certificates to that effect issued by the competent authority (in English version).
Domicile certificate for Karnataka OBC candidates (APPENDIX – III)
DDs (of any Nationalized Bank / Scheduled Bank ‘payable at Vijayapura (Bijapur)-586103, Karnataka’) for tuition fees and other fees.
Five set of self attested photocopies of the above mentioned originals arranged in same order
Candidates will be selected for admission to MBBS programme on the basis of their performance in the university entrance test (BLDEU-UGET).
NRI/Foreign/PIO candidates need not to appear in the BLDEU-UGET. Their selection will be based on the qualifying examination marks

Separate hostels are avalialbe for both boys and girls. NRI hostels are available for foreign students.
BLDE University conducts Counselling and admission for Scholarship Scheme Seats (15) for admission to MBBS course as per the merit list based on the Karnataka Common Entrance Test Ranks.
