Maharashtara University of Health Sciences (MUHS) DM, M.Ch and MPT Admission 2020: Courses, Application Process, Result

Maharashtra University of Health Sciences provides different courses in the field of medicine, physiotherapy, Audiology and Speech language pathology and other sciences programmes which are helpful to provide a boom in the career of candidates after graduation. These courses are conducted in the wise supervision of experts provided by the MUHS. Admission to DM and M.Ch. programmes is conducted by Directorate of Medical Education and Research and the application form for which is available on their website itself. Admission to other courses is made by an entrance test conducted by the University for which application form is available on the University website. For courses except DM and M.Ch. candidates are required to appear for an interview conducted by the University. Interview is to be given by those candidates only who are able to make their names in the merit list. Merit list is prepared on the basis of marks scored in the entrance test. Application Process

For DM and M.Ch. programmes:

Application form for DM and M.Ch. programmes are available on Directorate of Medical Education and Research website. Candidates are required to fill in the details required in the application form. When candidates will submit the filled application form a bank challan will be generated which is to be used for filling the application fee.

Candidates will get a unique password once they will fill the application form which can be used for future use. After making the payment to the State Bank of India through the challan, candidates can again login by using the application number as username and unique password provided earlier.

User facts:

  • Candidates are required to upload a scan copy of photograph and signature.
  • Candidates should keep a copy of application form and bank challan which shall be used in future.
  • After filling the application form, a copy of form and challan will be send to the email registered by the candidate.
  • Application form fee is INR 5000 and INR 60 as bank charges.

NOTE: Candidates need not to send the application form copy or challan to the office.

For other Programmes:

Candidates are required to download the application form from the University website and send it along with a Demand Draft of INR 600 drawn in the favour of Registrar MUHS, Nashik and send it to

NOTE: Application form is to be filled with a black ball pen in the candidate’s own hand writing.

  1. 10th marks sheet
  2. 12th marks sheet
  3. Graduation marks sheet
  4. Physical fitness certificate
  5. Migration certificate

Eligibility Criteria

Duration: 3 years


Candidates should have done MBBS/MD from a University recognised by the Medical Council of India. Candidates having MNAMS/DNB are also eligible for admission to the programme.

Admission Process

For DM and M.Ch. programmes:

Candidates are required to appear for an entrance test MH-SSET conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education & Research. The questions asked in the entrance test are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

NOTE: Candidates are required to provide a print out of admit card along with a valid photo ID proof at the examination centre.

For other Programmes:

An entrance test will be conducted for the admission of candidate to the M.Sc. programme. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance of candidates in the entrance test. Those candidates who are successful to make their names in the merit list will be called for an interview.

NOTE: Those candidates who’ll score 50 or more than 50% marks in the entrance test will score position in the merit list.
