North Maharashtra University established in 1990 is located in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. It has been awarded 'A' Grade by NAAC. The University invites Applications for admission to the B.Sc. Actuarial Science and Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) Programmes for the academic year. The application for both the courses are available online. The admission for BBM programme is based on a Common Entrance Test, whereas for B.Sc. Actuarial Science programme is based on merit.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Actuarial Science)

You should have passed H.S.C. (Class 12th) from any stream (Science / Commerce / Arts) with one of the subject as Mathematics with at least 50marks for general category and 45% marks for reserved category.

Bachelor of Business Management [BBM]

The University offers BBM Programme in the following disciplines:

  • E-Commerce
  • Management


You should have passed the H.S.C. Examination of recognized board with minimum 45% marks for general category and 40% marks in case of SC/ST/DTNT/OBC category.

How to apply?

Bachelor of Business Management [BBM] & Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Actuarial Science)

You should download the Application from the University website.

Take a printout of the Application Form and fill it with the required details. Affix a recent passport size photograph in the space provided.

Application Fee: You should make the payment of Rs. 300 through a Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of “The Finance and Accounts Officer, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon” payable at Jalgaon. You must fill the details of the Demand Draft in the form and also attach a copy of the same with the form.

Enclosures: You should attach the following documents with the form:

  • true copies of HSC (Class 12th) examination Marks Sheet
  • Transfer Certificate (T.C.) from the previous School/College
  • Caste Certificate with validity of belonging to backward class from Maharashtra
  • Copy of the Demand Draft

Selection Process

Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Actuarial Science)

You will be selected on the basis of fulfilment of eligibility criteria.

Bachelor of Business Management [BBM]

Selection will be on merit based on the Common Entrance Test. The test is held across 4 centres in Maharashtra.

The test will be in offline mode in the form of OMR sheet and consist of multiple choice type questions.Entrance examination consists of single paper of 90 minutes duration that contains 50 questions carrying maximum of 100 marks. The syllabus consists of the following topics: English, General Aptitude, Basic IT and Current Affairs.
