Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) Manipal University, Karnataka offers 16 specializations in the field of engineering at the undergraduate (UG) level. Admission to B. Tech programs is through the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) Online Entrance Test (MET) followed by a counseling session. Check MAHE Manipal University

To register the candidates must submit INR. 600 as application fees along with the entrance test fee INR.1400. The fees can be submitted online via Debit/Credit card or Net banking.

The counseling will be conducted according to the order of ranking in the merit list.

MAHE Manipal B.Tech Admission 2020

MAHE Manipal University offers an engineering undergraduate degree in 12 disciplines including admission in the lateral entry for students. Following streams of engineering are:

Eligibility criteria and Duration for B.Tech programs are

  • Candidates must be Indian Nationals.
  • Candidate must have passed 10+2, A level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
  • Duration: 4 years

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Lateral Entry:

  • Candidates must be Indian Nationals.
  • Candidate must possess 3 years diploma in engineering by the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government or passed B.Sc. degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 45% marks and 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject.
  • Duration: 3 years

Manipal Entrance Test (MET)

MET is an online entrance exam conducted by Manipal University for admission to UG courses in various disciplines and specializations. It an online exam which is held tentatively from the second week of April until the third week of May. Students who have passed 10+2 from a recognized board of education are eligible to apply for MET.

MAHE Manipal B.Tech Selection Process

Admission will be based on merit in the Manipal Entrance Test. (MET). The university will prepare a merit list based on the marks secured by the candidates in the MET. The list will follow the order of ranking secured by the candidate. Candidates will be called for counseling as per their names on the merit list.

The selected candidates must carry the following documents at the time of admission:

  • MET hall ticket
  • 10th and 12th standard mark sheet
  • Identity Proof (Aadhar/PAN card)
  • Passport size photographs

The candidates must pay the first installment of the total fees.

MAHE Manipal Application Process

For admission, the candidates must apply for the Entrance test conducted by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).

The candidates can apply for admission through the official website-

  • To register, the candidates must first create their Log-in credentials.
  • Select the category.
  • Proceed to fill up the personal details.
  • Followed by the educational qualifications.
  • Upload the photograph and the signature.
  • Select the course and the test center.
  • Verify the details.
  • Submit the application form along with the fees.

The fees can be paid through debit/credit card or net banking. The candidates must upload the necessary documents, the university will verify the validity of the same and notify the candidates accordingly. The Hall Ticket can be downloaded from the university’s official website. The hard-copy of the hall ticket must be produced at the time of the test and counseling.

Note: 15% of seats are reserved for international students under FN/NRI category.
