RTM Nagpur University MCA & MBA Admission 2019

MCA and MBA are professional courses provided by the RTM Nagpur University (RTMNU), admission for which is made by state level common entrance test. Selection for MBA and MCA is done on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in MAH MBA CET and MAH MCA CET respectively. Application for MBA and MCA is done through Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. Candidates are required to register on the website first and acquire a unique user name and password to be used for filling the application form. Candidates are required to fill the details and upload their recent photograph and signature.

Payment for the application form is to be made through a Debit card/Credit card/Net banking.The notification for hall ticket will be given by the examination cell to the candidates on their given email id and phone number. The result for the examination will be displayed on the website on the basis of which, further selection will be made.

Eligibility Criteria

MCA

Duration: 2 years

Eligibility: Those candidates who have done graduation in any stream with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category) from a recognized University are eligible for the MCA programme.

NOTE 1: Candidates applying for the MCA programme are required to be an Indian national. Candidates should have studied mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation level.

NOTE 2: Those candidates who are aspiring to take direct admission to the second year of the programme are required to have done BCA or B.Sc. in computer science or Information technology.

MBA/PGDM

Duration: 2 years

Eligibility: Candidates are required to have done graduation in any stream with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category) from a recognized university to be eligible for the MBA programme.


Application Process

MBA/PGDM & MCA

  • Application for MCA programme is made online on www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in. Candidates are required to select the MCA option to apply for MCA programme and MBA programme in case of MBA course.
  • After registration candidates should select the ‘Click here for New Registration’ option after which the application form will appear on the screen. Candidates are required to enter the details asked in the form after which a unique username and password will be generated which is to be kept for future uses. This username and password will be send on email and phone number given by the candidates.
  • After verifying all the details select the ‘FINAL SUBMIT’ option and then click on ‘Payment’ tab to make payment for the application form.
  • Payment for the application form can be made through Net banking/Debit card/Credit card. Once the payment is done an E-receipt will be generated.

For MCA:

Cost of application form for is INR 750 for candidates belonging to outside Maharashtra, J&K migrants and open category candidates of Maharashtra. Whereas, cost of application form for reserved category candidates is INR 550.

For MBA:

Cost of application form for is INR 1000 for candidates belonging to outside Maharashtra, J&K migrants and open category candidates of Maharashtra. Whereas, cost of application form for reserved category candidates is INR 800.

NOTE:

  • Candidates are advised to take the print out of e-receipt.
  • Non generation of e-receipt indicates the failure of payment and candidates are advised to login with the username and password provided to them and again makes the payment.

User Facts:

  • After filling the application form, candidates should select the ‘Save & Next’ option this will help to save the details of candidates if in case they lose internet connection or they wish to make payment later.
  • The photograph and signature of candidates are to be of 50kb size, more than that is not acceptable.
  • Photograph should be taken in white background only. Avoid red eye if using flash.
  • Signature should be done on white paper with black pen only.
  • Scan the signature in 200dpi (dots per inch)

NOTE: If signature and photograph doesn’t meets the above mentioned criteria then application form will be considered incomplete.

Points to be remember before registration:

  • Candidates should keep the scan copy of photograph and signature ready.
  • Payment details should be kept along with the candidates to make a quick payment.
  • Candidates should have a valid email ID and phone number which is to be registered for getting notifications.


Admission Process

MCA & MBA/PGDM

For MBA:

Admission for MBA programme is done on the basis of MAH MBA CET 2019. Admission test for MBA will be conducted in two sessions, first on March 12 and second on March 13. Candidates will have the facility to opt an examination centre according to their convenience. On the basis of marks scored in the MAH MBA CET, a merit list will be released to select deserving candidates.

NOTE: It is not necessary that the test centre opted by candidates will be allotted to them. Allocation of test centre is done by the examination department considering the availability of the test centre.

For MCA

Selection for MCA is made on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in MAH MCA CET. For MCA candidates are required to give two papers, one is of general aptitude and another is of computer concepts. A merit list will be released on the basis of marks scored by the candidates which will be the basis for selecting candidate to MCA programme.

Special instructions for disable candidates:

  • Disable candidates are required to arrange a scribe by themselves at their own cost.
  • One scribe cannot write paper for two different disable candidates.
  • A compensatory time of 20 minutes is allotted after every one hour to disable candidates.

User facts:

  • The OMR sheet will be available to candidates on the website which can be accessed through their unique username and password.
  • In OMR sheet answers are to be made by darkening the bubbles with black ball pen only.
