Shivaji University B.E/B. Tech & B. Pharm Admission 2020: Dates, Eligibility, Forms

Engineering and Pharmacy courses in Shivaji University are provided to students through Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra which maintains and enhance the quality of technical education in the University. For admission to B.E./B.Tech and B.Pharm courses a state level common entrance test has been conducted by MHTCET authority.

Applications are made online and submission of application fee is made through a bank challan. Admit card is available online and print out of the same is to be taken by candidates and should be taken to the examination centre along with a valid ID proof. Physics, Chemistry and Biology papers are in Hindi/Urdu/English however, Mathematics paper is in English only.

For applying to CET, candidates are required to enter a valid email id, phone number and a password which is to be kept in records by the candidates for further uses. As per the performance of candidates in the common entrance test a merit list will be released on the basis of which selection of candidates will be done. Check Shivaji University Admission 2019

The university offers the following specializations under B.Tech. course

  • Computer Science Technology
  • Chemical Technology

  • Electronics and Communication Technology
  • Food Technology
  • Mechanical Engineering

Those candidates who have done 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects are eligible to go for the B.Tech/B.E. programmes.

B.Pharm

Those candidates who have done 10+2 with Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as main subjects are eligible for the B.Pharm programme.

Duration: 4 years


How To Apply

BE/B.Tech

Applicants are required to visit MHTCET official website and select MHT CET 2019 Registration.

The list of the Facilitation Centers shall be published on the website. The Facilitation center shall facilitate the candidate to fill the Online Application Form, scan and upload the required documents. However, One can also fill in Online Application Form and upload the scanned copies of the required documents through any computer connected to the internet

  • They must fill the form after carefully reading the instructions.
  • Upload their recent colored photograph and signature along with the necessary documents.
  • Candidates will be required to enter valid email id, mobile number, and password.

The candidates must take a print out of the filled-in application form and sign it.

Candidates are required to take the print out of the bank challan and make payment to any of the SBI branches. The application fee is INR 800 for open category and INR 600 for reserved category candidates. INR 5000 is to be paid by the international candidates.

After the confirmation of the Application Form, information cannot be changed by the candidate.

Once the notification for the issuance of admit card is released, candidates can download the admit card from the same website with their unique username and password.

The candidates are required to carry ALL Original Certificates/Documents in support of their claim at the time of filling up of Application Form for Admission for the scrutiny and verification at identified Facilitation Centre.


Admission Process

BE/B.Tech & B.Pharm

Candidates seeking admission to engineering and Pharmacy programs, They must appear for the entrance test.
The Entrance test consists of 3 question papers each of 100 marks. Candidates are eligible to enter the examination hall with downloaded admit card along with a valid photo ID proof.

The result for the entrance test will be made available on www.dmer.org after that further procedure for completing the admission is performed.

After the declaration of results, the qualified candidates will be shortlisted. The merit list gives a relative position of the candidate but it does not guarantee admission to any course/ institute. The university will release a list of available seats according to which admission will be granted to the candidates.

The candidates must carry their original documents along with a few xerox copies at the time of admission.

Admission will be based on the eligibility as well as the performance of the caniddate in the entrance exam.


Notes

  • If candidates want to verify their marks scored in the exams then, they are required to send an application in a self-addressed envelope along with a Demand Draft of INR 1000 drawn in favor Commissionerate, State CET CELL, Mumbai, payable at Mumbai within 4 days of declaration of results.
  • After the declaration of results, candidates can view their answer sheet on DMER website by login to the site with their username and password.
  • Language for examination paper will be Hindi/Urdu/English whereas; language for Mathematics question paper will be English only.
  • The provisional answer key will be made available on DMER website.
  • OMR sheet answers are to be made by darkening the bubbles with a black ball pen only.
