Sri Siddhartha University MBBS, BDS and BE Admission 2019: Courses, Eligibility, Selection

Sri Siddhartha Universityoffers MBBS, BDS and BE programs as a part of its curriculum.

The last date of submitting online application forms is April 25,  2019 (tentative). In totality, there are 130 seats in the MBBS and 40 seats in BDS, while, B.E. is offered in various disciplines. Admission to MBBS and BDS courses will be done on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in the NEET UG exam.

B.E is offered by the Sri Siddhartha University in ten courses such as:

Eligibility Criteria


The candidate applying to the course should have passed in the second year Pre-University or 12th standard or Equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and optional subjects and English as one of the languages. It is mandatory, that the candidate should have obtained not less than 50% of the aggregate marks or an equivalent grade in the optional subjects.

  • Candidate must be an Indian National.
  • Lower Age Limit: 17 years
  • Upper Age Limit: 25 years

General category candidates who secured 50 percentile in NEET (UG) and satisfy the above-mentioned eligibility norms will be considered eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS courses.

The candidates who have passed their second year Pre-University or 12th standard or any equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology in Engineering courses, a candidate requires Chemistry and Biology in case of Medical and Dental courses as optional subjects and English as one of the languages that the student knows.

The student should have obtained not less than 50% aggregate marks or an equivalent grade in the optional subjects and will be henceforth, considered as eligible to apply to the course.

It will be 45% aggregate marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category for Medical, Dental and Engineering courses, as declared by the government of Karnataka.

How to Apply?

BE/B.Tech , BDS & MBBS

NEET Application

For MBBS/BDS, the candidates must appear for the NEET exam conducted by NTA. To apply for the same, the candidates must visit the NTA website and fill in the application form. Submit the form along with the required fee.

The application fees can be paid via Debit/Credit Card or Netbanking.

University Application Form

The application form is available on the university’s website. It can be submitted online as well as offline.

  • The candidates must register and create their login credentials.
  • Followed by accessing the application form.
  • Fill in the mandatory details.
  • Pay the fees.
  • Submit the form.

MBBS/BDS students will be required to register after the online medical counseling session conducted by the MCC.

Selection Process


Admission will be granted as per the rank secured by the candidates in NEET followed by the Online Medical Counseling conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee.

An All India Merit List of the qualified candidates shall be prepared on the basis of the rank in the Merit List of the NEET (UG) and candidates shall be admitted to MBBS/BDS Courses from the said list.

  • NTA will provide All India Rank.
  • Admitting Authorities will invite applications for counseling.

To be eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain a minimum of marks at 50th percentile.

The students will be required to fill the online application form to participate in the counseling/admission process.


For Bachelor of Engineering, the admission to college is granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance test, Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Karnataka Government and Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK).

The students with meritorious ranking are considered for admissions. Also, the students can take admission through university quota.

The candidates must submit the following documents at the time of admission:

  • NEET UG 2019 Qualified Marks/Rank Card
  • S.S.C./10th Standard Statement of Marks
  • H.S.C./12th Standard / Equivalent Examination Statement of Marks
  • Leaving/Transfer Certificate
  • Bonafide and Character Certificate from Head of Institution last attended.
  • Certificate of Age (S.S.C. or 10th Passing Certificate / Valid passport)
  • Caste & Cast validity certificate (by candidates belonging to all Backward class)
  • Aadhar Card of the student
  • Migration certificate - Original + 3 copies (other than Karnataka board candidates)
  • Physical fitness certificate
  • 8 passport size and 8 stamp size photos 
  • Bank Guarantee (Annexure-I) - As per the format furnished in the MCC/SSAHE website for the rest of the course fees payable.
  • Three self-attested photocopies separate sets of above all documents as per the above sequence
  • Demand Draft/s of Tuition Fee, Other Fee, and University Fee

  • NRI/PIO/FN Category: 15 % seats are reserved under this category
