Mumbai University (MU) is the oldest University which was established in 1857 and located at Mumbai, Maharashtra and one of the first three universities in India. Several private colleges in and around Mumbai are affiliated to MU. It has established its name in industrial & International collaborations and runs various professional courses. At national level, it has excelled in sports, cultural and out-reach activities. The University was accorded 5 star status in 2001 & 'A' grade status in April 2012 by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It has been granted University with Potential for Excellence (UPE) status by UGC and PURSE Scheme by DST.
In the last five years it has seen 104% increase in under-graduate students. The University of Mumbai is one of the largest universities in the world in terms of the number of students. More than eighty of its teachers are on various professional bodies. Moreover, eighteen National/International awards have been won by the teachers in the last five years.
The admission shall be based on All India Merit Rank of Mumbai University Common Management Entrance test (MUCMET)2017 to be held on May 14th, 2018 (tentative). The application form for the course must be submitted by May 10th, 2018 (tentative).
The University invites Applications for admission to the BMS-MBA Programme for the academic year 2018-19 at the University of Mumbai, Thane Sub Campus. It is an integrated course for a duration of 5 years. Total seats available for the course are 60 seats.

You should have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate or Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognised Board with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate for general category and 40% marks in aggregate in case of Reserved Category from Science, Commerce, Arts or any other stream / discipline.
Age: You should be Below 20 years of age as on 13th May, 2017 for general category and 22 years in case of Reserved Category and PWD candidates.
You should go to the website of the University of Mumbai, and follow the link for admission for Integrated Management Program (BMS-MBA).
You should register yourself by filling the online form available at the website. You must then take the print out of the form.
Application Fee: You should go to the payment link and pay the fee given below. You can make the payment through Demand Draft of Nationalised Bank, in favour of “Finance and Accounts Officer, University of Mumbai” to be submitted at Thane Sub Campus.
You should print the payment confirmation page and keep it with the copy of your application form.
The form has a Hall Ticket. You must fill complete information on that and paste your recent passport size photograph.
You should then submit all these (Print out of Form, Payment details and Hall Ticket) to the address given below in person on or before May 10th, 2018 (tentative) on working days (except second and fourth Monday, Sunday and public holidays) from 11.00 to 4.00 pm (1.00 pm to 1.30 pm Lunch break):

Your selection shall be based on All India Merit Rank of Mumbai University Common Management Entrance Test (MUCMET) 2018 for Integrated Management Programme.
MUCMET 2018 exam will be based on Multiple Choice of Questions. The test will be divided into 4 sections i.e. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical/Abstract Reasoning and General Knowledge. The question paper will carry 100 questions. The time duration of the test will be of 2 Hours. The medium of the paper with will be English.
For Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension: Your English language ability would be tested through questions on: understanding of the contents of the passage and choice of appropriate words, phrases, expressions and similar language skills.
For Logical/Abstract Reasoning: This test measures how quickly and accurately you can think. This test may have questions based on figures and diagrams.
85% of the seats shall be reserved for the students qualified and domiciled in Maharashtra.
