Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education well known as Sri Siddhartha University offers three years MD and MS programmes. It also offers two years PG Diploma programmes with five specializations. There are 11 courses offered under the M.D. programme, 5 under the MS programme and 5 PG Diploma programmes that can be opted by the candidate seeking admission to this University. Those candidates who wish to appear in Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education’s entrance exam -AIPGET are required to complete the given form downloaded from the online website and submit the same to the University on-line.

The Candidates who come from outside, must approach the Registrar, Sri Siddhartha University, Tumkur with following documents, for obtaining eligibility certificate for the B.D.S / M.D.S. Course.
In the case of a foreign nationals , if a candidate from abroad wishes to apply to these courses, the MCI/DCI may, on payment of the prescribed fee for the registration, grant temporary registration for the duration of the Post–Graduate training restricted to the medical college / institute to which the applicant is admitted for the time being exclusively for postgraduate studies; provided further, that temporary registration to such foreign nationals shall be subjected to the condition that such a person is duly registered as medical practitioner in his own country from which the applicant has obtained his/her basic medical qualification and that his/her degree is recognized by the corresponding medical council or concerned authority.
You should have passed the MBBS degree examination after pursuing a study in a Medical College recognized by the Medical Council of India of this university or of other recognized medical college affiliated to any other University, recognized as equivalent.
The minimum percentage of marks that would be required in the entrance exam would be 50% of the maximum marks in order to be eligible for the post-graduate courses for all candidates. For SC/ST and OBC candidates, the minimum percentage requirement will be 40% as per the govt. of Karnataka’s regulations.
Note: The minimum percentage of marks in the Entrance Test(SSAHE-AIPGET) for eligibility for admission to Post Graduate courses shall be 50% for candidates belong to General Category and 40% for the candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC as per Govt. of Karnataka regulations.
Admissions to these programmes of MS, MD and PG Diploma courses are made through the regulations set by the UGC and other concerned statutory bodies. Admissions are granted through the entrance examination on an all India basis to the identical courses assessed through a common test. The student will have to qualify the All India Post Graduate Entrance Test or AIPGET to enroll themselves under Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education (SSAHE) for the academic year. The admissions are granted on the merit scored by the student in the entrance exam through which the entrance test list is prepared.
The minimum for eligibility criteria in the AIPGET is 50% marks for General Merit candidates and 40% for candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories as per Govt. of Karnataka Regulations.
Merit lists in both Medical and Dental faculties are prepared separately on the basis of marks obtained in Entrance Test. In case two or more candidates obtain equal marks in the test, theMarks obtained in III Phase MBBS / IV Yr BDS will be considered for deciding ranking, further ties in the test scores, if any, will be resolved based on the following, in order
In case of tie in all of the above situations, selection will be through draw of lots.
The University will publish the merit / Rank list on its website on the prescribed date. The candidate will be called for counseling as per the Merit / Rank list.
