MGM Institute of Health Sciences was established in 1989 with the permission of State of Maharashtra. The institute is recognized by the Medical Council of India. It aims to be top-ranking institute in Medical Education by the end of year 2020. It believes in imparting students with quality education so that they serve all sections of society in the utmost beneficial manner. The MBBS and Post Graduation courses are under the vigilance of Medical Council and are revised time-to time for betterment of the students.
MGM Institute of Health Sciences provides PhD courses in ten different medical streams namely medical sciences, physiology, biotechnology, pharmacology, nursing, genetics and others. University conducts an Entrance Examination for selection of students. However, a student requires at least 55% in Master’s degree examination to enrol to the courses.
Admission to the Ph.D programme will be done on the basis of marks scored in the entrance test, conducted by the university. The entrance test will consist of Multiple Choice Question and Theoretical Descriptive Question based on your specified subjects along with basic questions on English and Computers respectively. Note: Duration of the Ph.D. course is 2 years for students who possess MD/MS/PG Diploma and 3 years for students who possess M.Sc. in Medical Subjects.
Note: If you are appearing for the final examination of Master’s degree, then you are eligible to apply and appear in the Entrance test. However, your enrolment to the Ph.D. course will be done only after you submit the proof of Master’s degree with the college.
Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks scored in the Entrance Test conducted by the University.
