DY Patil Vidyapeeth (DPU) MBBS and BDS Admissions 2019: Dates, Application Process, Eligibility

Dr. D.Y Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune offers admission in M.B.B.S and BDS Program.

MBBS is 5 and a half year program and BDS is 5 year program. Both programs inculdes one year of rotatory internship. Total intake capacity of DPU in MBBS program is of 250 where as intake for BDS is 100 students.

Students from general category and holding class 12 degree with 50% in PCB can apply for the course whereas there is relaxation of 10% for reserved category students.

Admission to the program will be done on the basis of score obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test which is conducted by the NTA (National testing agency), Delhi and Central counseling which is conducted by DGFS New Delhi, (MCC)

Eligibility Criteria

MBBS

Eligibility for M.B.B.S

Applicant must have qualified NEET, UG. All the Students belonging from Indian Nationals, Persons of Indian origin (PIO's), Overseas citizen of India (OCI's), and Foreign Nationals can apply for the National eligibility cum entrance test (UG), 2020.

Student must have a valid date of birth proof, especially the SSC or some equivalent certificate.

Student must have done higher secondary certification (HSC/ 12th standard) or some equivalent examination with specific four subjects - English, Chemistry, Physics and Biology (Zoology and Botany).

  • General category students must have 50% in class 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Biology which means 150 out of 300 marks.
  • Reserved category students must have 40% in class 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Biology which means 120 out of 300 marks.

Eligibility for BDS

  • Applicant must have qualified NEET, UG
  • Student must have done higher secondary certification (HSC/ 12th standard)
  • General category students must have 50% in class 12th
  • Reserved category students must have 40% in class 12th

  • Click on new registration
  • Once you have registered you will get the login credentials.
  • Now you can apply to different university as per your NEET score.

Admission Process

MBBS & BDS

Merit list of the students will be prepared on the basis of the score of applicant in National eligibility cum entrance test, conducted by the National testing agency (NTA).

There will be no other entrance examination or any other state level examination through which students can get admission in the MBBS.

NEET- UG is the ranking cum eligibility examination which is conducted in the central level for BDS course and MBBS course.


Reservation

  • There are 212 seats for general category.
  • There are 38 seats reserved for NRI .
