University offers the following postgraduate courses to its students every year: SGBAU gives the following programmes in the faculty Engineering & Technology :University offers various post graduate programmes in different disciplines which are as follows:

Candidate can get admission to the above mentioned M.Sc. courses through central admission committee. For admission to MBA courses, candidates need to appear for State Common Entrance Test and in MCA admissions are through AIMCET i.e. (All India MCA Common Entrance Test). Candidate can register themselves by submitting the entrance examination fees of Rs. 1000/- for (open category) and Rs. 800/- for (reserved category). No. of the seats allocated in the above mentioned programme is as follows:

Application Process

  • Candidates have to fill the online application form and obtain the brochure which is available on University website.
  • Candidate can register themselves by submitting the application fees of Rs.300/- for (open category) and Rs.200/- for (reserved category).
  • Candidate must have to submit DD of Rs.750/- (for open category) and Rs.500/- (for reserved category) in favour of “Registrar, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University”, payable at Amravati from any nationalized bank.

Eligibility: Candidate must possess B.Sc. Graduate degree from this university or any other recognized University.

Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidates:

For 1st year

  • Candidate should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification.
  • Candidate must qualify Common Entrance Test MAH-MCA-CET.

For 2nd year:

  • Candidate should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification in Computer application, Computer science or Science (IT/Computer) i.e. BCA, BCS or Bachelor of Science (IT/Computer) appeared and qualified in the Common Entrance Test MAH-MCA-CET.
  • Candidate must qualify Common Entrance Test MAH-MCA-CET.

Eligibility criteria for OMS candidates:

For 1st year:

  • Candidate should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification.
  • Candidate must have qualified Common Entrance Test MAH-MCA-CET. Or Candidate must qualify and appeared in AIMCET 

Eligibility criteria for J&K Migrant candidates:

  • Candidate should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification.
  • Candidate must qualify and appeared in AIMCET.

Eligibility criteria for NRI /Foreign National / PIO candidates:

  • Candidate must qualify basic qualification.
  • Candidate must qualify in AIMCET.Or
  • Candidate must qualify Common Entrance Test MAH-MCA-CET.Or              
  • Candidate must pass any other equivalent entrance examination conducted for the academic year.

Eligibility criteria for Minority / Institute Level:

For 1st year

  • Candidate should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification.
  • Candidate must appear for AIMCET.Or
  • Candidate must qualify Common Entrance Test MAH-MCA-CET.Or
  • Candidate must pass CET conducted by agency approved by Pravesh Niyantran Samiti.

For 2nd year

  • Candidate should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification in Computer application, Computer science or Science (IT/Computer) i.e. BCA, BCS or Bachelor of Science (IT/Computer) appeared and qualified in the Common Entrance Test MAH-MCA-CET.
  • Candidate must appear for AIMCET. Or
  • Candidate must qualify Common Entrance Test MAH-MCA-CET .Or
  • Candidate must pass CET conducted by agency approved by Pravesh Niyantran Samiti.

Admission Reservation

  • 70% seats are reserved for the students of the Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University
  • 20% seats are reserved for the other university students & students belonging to other states
  • 10% seats are reserved for the students from the foreign universities

Admission process

Entrance Exam Pattern: 

  • No negative marks. 
  • Examination will be for 2 hours. 
  • Maximum marks will be 100. 
  • It is MCQ based exam. 
  • Medium of examination will be in english. 
     

Selection of the Candidate to the above mentioned M.Sc. courses is done through central admission committee.

Hi Kishor, entrance exam for MCA is expected to be conducted in June, 2020 next year for the new session.

HI Vaishnavi, this course is not available in the university. However, you may check other Computer Science Engineering Colleges in Maharashtra from here.
