Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, centred in Bangalore, India, is the only university set up in 1996 by the government of Karnataka, India, for the regulation and promotion of higher education in health sciences throughout the state of Karnataka. The University offers the following Post Graduate Super Speciality programs.
Only candidates who is a Citizen of India, has a MBBS Degree from a University established by law in India as recognised by the MCI and a recognized degree of M.D. / M.S. (or its equivalent recognized degree) in the subject shown against them from a University established by law in India and recognised by the MCI or any other University recognized by the Medical Council of India and declared as equivalent can register for the above mentioned programmes. Seats are reserved for people belonging to different categories such as SC/ST/BC etc.
Candidates can register for admission by filling-in the online application form and submitting the application(in person/by post) along with required processing fee, on or before June 20, 2017 (tentative) till 5-00 P.M. Admission to the Post Graduate Super Speciality programmes is done on the basis of Post Graduate Super Speciality Entrance Test-2017.

Candidates must apply for admission through online registration process and submit completed application before May 18, 2017 (tentative), 5 PM. All fields in the application form should be correctly and completely filled-in with the relevant information.

Print out Application filled online in all respects along with attested copies of all required certificates may be submitted for registration, in person or by post , at RGUHS, 4th ‘T’ Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore – 560 041 before 5-00 P.M on June 20, 2017 (tentative).
In-service candidates should submit their applications through the concerned Head of the Department i.e. Director/ commissioner Health and family well fare etc. and no advance copy will be entertained.
The candidate has to submit the attested photo copies of following documents duly attested by a Gazetted Officer along with the filled application form.
1. 10th Marks card/Birth Certificate for proof of age.
2. Attempt Certificate of PG Degree issued by the Principal.
3. Permanent Medical Council Registration Certificate including PG.
4. UG Degree Certificate.
5. Marks cards and Degree certificate of Post-Graduation.
6. Probationary Period declaration certificate (Applicable to Karnataka Govt. In-service candidates).
THE QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD COMPULSORILY SUBMIT ALL THE ABOVE MENTIONED ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES AT THE TIME OF VIVA-VOCE
Candidates will be admitted to the said courses in the various institutions on the basis of merit list prepared the committee on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test. The minimum percentage of marks for eligibility for admission shall be 50%. Those qualifying by obtaining 50% of marks in the written test shall be called for the Viva-Voce in the ratio of 1:5 (Two or more candidates secures same marks in fifth place all such candidates are called for Interview) after the Viva-Voce final rank list of selected candidates and the waiting list shall be published.
There shall be a separate merit list for in-service candidates.

An in-service candidate shall be eligible for admission to Post Graduate Super Speciality course in the subject of specialisation in which allied Medical or Surgical subjects related to his/her Post Graduate qualification only if he/she is not already holding any Post Graduate Super Speciality qualification
Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences of offers scholarship for the candidates those are financially week or they are facing some other money problem during their study period .Eligible and interested candidates can fill the scholarship form with the help of official website.
Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences provides hostel facility to the interested candidates.
