Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science offers D.M and M.Ch programs as Post Graduate Super Speciality programs. D.M is offered in 5 specializations and M.Ch is offered in 8 specializations. 

Indian candidates having an MBBS Degree from a University established by law in India as recognized by the MCI and a recognized degree of M.D. / M.S. Candidates can register for admission in Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science by filling-in the online application form and submitting the application(in person/by post) along with the required processing fee. Admission to the Post Graduate Super Speciality programs is done on the basis of the Postgraduate Super Speciality Entrance Test.

Application Process

Candidates must apply for admission via online registration process and submit the completed application. All fields in the application form should be correctly and completely filled-in with the relevant information. Follow the given steps to successfully complete the application process:

  1. In the “Admissions” section, click on “Online Application” Link.
  2. Click on “Apply Now” button and fill in the application form along with a scanned photograph.
  3. Click on “Save” button if you need to make any changes or click on the “Submit” button if all the particulars are correct.
  4. Upon clicking “Submit” button, pay the required registration fee through the available online payment modes (Debit or Credit Cards, Master or Visa).


  1. Upon successful submission, the candidate will receive a confirmation mail along with your Login ID and Application Number.
  2. Applicants must download the completed applications for subsequent use.

Print out Application filled online in all respects along with attested copies of all required certificates may be submitted for registration, in person or by post , at RGUHS, 4th ‘T’ Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore – 560 041.

In-service candidates should submit their applications through the concerned Head of the Department i.e. Director/ commissioner Health and family welfare etc. and no advance copy will be entertained.


 The candidate has to submit the attested photocopies of the following documents duly attested by a Gazetted Officer along with the filled application form.

  1. 10th Marks card/Birth Certificate for proof of age.
  2. Attempt Certificate of PG Degree issued by the Principal.
  3. Permanent Medical Council Registration Certificate including PG.
  4. UG Degree Certificate.
  5. Marks cards and Degree certificate of Post-Graduation.
  6. Probationary Period declaration certificate (Applicable to Karnataka Govt. In-service candidates).


Eligibility Criteria


MBBS Degree from a University established by law in India as recognised by the MCI and a recognized degree of M.D. General Medicine/M.D. Paediatrics/M.D. Radiotherapy

Selection Process

Candidates will be admitted to the said courses in the various institutions on the basis of merit list prepared the committee on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test. The minimum percentage of marks for eligibility for admission shall be 50%.

Those qualifying by obtaining 50% of marks in the written test shall be called for the Viva-Voce in the ratio of 1:5 (Two or more candidates secures same marks in fifth place all such candidates are called for Interview) after the Viva-Voce final rank list of selected candidates and the waiting list shall be published.

There shall be a separate merit list for in-service candidates.

Admission Fee:

The details of fee structure, submission of undertaking (bond), service conditions and admission details etc., may be obtained from the respective Institution’s Website.


An in-service candidate shall be eligible for admission to Post Graduate Super Speciality course in the subject of specialization in which allied Medical or Surgical subjects related to his/her Post Graduate qualification only if he/she is not already holding any Post Graduate Super Speciality qualification
