Only candidates with the relevant qualification can register for the above mentioned programmes. Seats are reserved for people belonging to different categories such as SC/ST/BC etc. as well as special categories viz. Differently-abled, sports person, children of ex-servicemen etc. Candidates can register for admission by filling-in the online application form and submitting the required processing fee, on or before. .Admission to the above programmes is done on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Test (YVURESCET) followed by an interview.

Application Process

Candidates must apply for admission by filling in and submitting completed online application. All fields in the application form should be correctly and completely filled-in with the relevant information. Candidate should log on to the university website and must follow the given steps:

  • Fill the application form online with the necessary information.
  • Attach  the important copies of documents in support of the application
  • Pay the application fee via available payment modes.
  • Submit the application form online
  • Submit the copy of the filled-in application with necessary certificates  either in person or sent by Registered Post on  the following address:

  • Candidate must keep the printout copy of the completed applications and preserve the application number for subsequent use.
  • Candidate can download the hall ticket from the official website before some days of entrance examination.

The candidate must bring/submit the application and the following copies of following documents at the time of interview for the verification purposes.

  1. YVURESCET Rank card and Hall Ticket.
  2. SSC and Intermediate Pass Certificate
  3. Degree marks statements and Provisional/Degree Certificates
  4. Marks statements and Provisional/Degree Certificate of the qualifying PG examination
  5. Transfer and Conduct certificates (Admission will not be given if T.C. of the institution where the candidate studied last is not submitted)
  6. Two Passport size photographs
  7. Study certificates from Intermediate to qualifying examination.
  8. Caste certificate in original from the Tehshildar in case of SC/ST/BC candidates, obtained in the year OR permanent caste certificate.
  9. Income certificate from the Tahshildar
  10. Relevant certificate in case of physically handicapped category.
  11. Residence Certificate of parents for stay in the state of A.P. from Tahshildar in case of candidates, who have studied outside A.P. / carried out private study.
  12. Migration certificate (for other University candidates)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate should have passed the qualifying examination in the concerned Master’s degree/any other equivalent master’s degree in the academic year  or earlier.
  • The candidate must have passed the qualifying degree examination with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in the concerned subject.
  •  For SC/ST/PH candidates the minimum marks required in the qualifying degree is 50%.
  • In case of Ph. D. programme in Engineering, a candidate should have passed Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology with First class either at Under-Graduate level or at post-graduate level.
