Sri Venkateswara University Distance Education B.Ed Admission 2019: Courses, Application Process, Entrance Exam

Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati is a UGC affiliated “A” grade University. The University campus flourishes on an enormous area and imparts professional and non-professional education, research and training. The university has four constituent colleges and 36 affiliated colleges. The Directorate of Distance Education, SVU offers admission to B.Ed. programme in distance mode.
Candidates can register for admission by filling-in the online application form and submitting the required processing fee, Admission to the B.Ed programmes is done on the basis experience in teaching with relevant qualifying degree.
The teacher candidate who has obtained his/her bachelor’s degree(BA/B.Sc/B.Com) are eligible for B.Ed admission.
Note : Vinayaka Mission University Degree holders are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for this programme as those Degrees are not Recognised by S.V.University.
How to Apply?
Candidates must apply for admission by filling in and submitting completed application form obtained either in person from State Bank of India / Andhra Bank, S.V.University Campus, Tirupati/ from the office of the DDE by submitting the Online challan of SBI/AB /downloaded from the SVU DDE website:www.svudde.in./ by post, by sending requisition to the Director,DDE, S.V.University along with the Online challan ofAB/SBI. All fields in the application form should be correctly and completely filled-in with the relevant information.
Candidate must fill the application form manually with the necessary information
Tag the important copies of document and photograph with the application form
Submit the application form to the Director,DDE, S.V.University by post/in person.
Candidate must keep the printout copy of the completed applications for subsequent use
The candidate must attach/submit the application along with the following copies of documents
HSC/CBSE/other equivalent mark sheet
Community Certificate (For OC candidates community certificate not required)
Certificates for Special categories, if required
Nativity Certificate if required
Date of Birth Certificate (SSC / ICSE / CBSE).
Online challan of AB or SBI for Rs.350/- in case of downloaded form
Note: The candidate must needs to submit the application and the following copies of following documents at the time of admission for the verification purposes.
D.E.O / M.E.O in the case of teachers working in Govt. /Aided / Elementary schools and Vidya Volunteers.
Teachers working in Municipal High Schools from Municipal Commissioner.
Teachers working in A.P. Social Welfare Residential Schools from Secretary, A.P. Social Welfare Residential School Society.
Teachers working in A.P. Residential Schools including Tribal Welfare Residential Schools from Secretary, A.P.R. Educational Institution Society.
Teacher working in CBSC affiliated schools from CBSC Inspecting Authority, South Zone, Madras or Central Zone, Delhi.
Teachers working in Central Schools from Joint Commissioner of Central Schools, Secunderabad.
Regional Director, Navodaya Schools in the case of Teachers working in Navodaya Schools.
Head Master / Mistress / Principal for teachers working in unaided / Recognised private schools /colleges.
Application cum prospectus fee in case the from is obtained from State Bank of India / Andhra Bank, S.V.University Campus, Tirupati :Rs. 360/- (including service charges of Rs. 10/-)
Application cum prospectus fee in case of downloaded form/application obtained from the university office: Rs. 350/-
Application cum prospectus fee in case the from is obtained via post: Rs. 350/- along with the Rs.35/- stamped self-addressed
The application/registration fee is non-refundable
The name and address of the applicant and course applied for should be legibly written on the back side of the Online challan.
Candidates will be selected for the B.Ed Program on the basis of duration of qualified candidates service in teaching followed by the counselling.
