Goa University was established in June 1985 under Act of 1984. It is certified by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) in India with a rating of four stars. Goa University offers graduate and post-graduate studies and research programmes.
Candidates can register themselves for courses by downlaoding, printing and submitting application form by paying application fees of Rs. 1500/- payable by DD in favour of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji – Goa, on any Scheduled Bank.
Candidates seeking admission to the above mentioned courses must have a valid score in GCET-18 and National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
Incomplete application form shall not be accepted and if the application form is submitted after the scheduled date, then late fees fine of Rs.1000/- will be charged with the application fees.

Statement of marks of H.S.S.C. (Std. XIIth) or its equivalent examination.
Birth Certificate from Competent Authority.
Certificate of residence from the Mamlatdar, indicating period of continuous residence (minimum last 10 years) of the applicant in Goa
‘Bonafide student’ certificate (if applicable)
Leaving/Transfer certificate from school or college last attended
‘Certificate of Income’ in original issued by Panchayat
OCI /PIO Card /document issued by the Competent Authority for NRI candidates.
A certified copy of the passport as proof of being an Indian Citizen
Candidates must possess Higher Secondary School Certificate examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English and secured not less than 50% aggregate marks in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together (40% aggregate marks for candidates belong to SC/ST/OBC)
Candidates who belong to PH category must have secured 45% marks for MBBS and BDS courses.
15 seats are reserved for the management quota and one seat in over & above intake shall be available to Kashmiri Migrants.
2% seats are reserved for the SC category candidates and 12% seats are reserved for the ST category candidates.
27% seats are reserved for the OBC category candidates.
Selection of the candidates is based on the GCET merit list in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology
In case if above marks of two or more candidate are equal, then candidate with more marks in Biology shall be placed higher in the merit list.
In case if the marks in Biology are equal, then candidate with more marks in Chemistry shall be placed higher in the merit list.
If all the above are also equal, then the applicant with earlier date of birth will be placed higher in the order of merit.
Candidates must submit original documents at the time of admission.
Candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC category shall be eligible for 50% concession of fees.
Hostel facility is applicable for both boys and girls.
