JNTU Anantapur invites candidates to join M.B.A. and MCA programs. The duration of MBA and MCA is 2 years and 3 years respectively. 

Applicants seeking admission in these programs must have a graduate degree in relevant subject with mathematics as a subject. JNTU holds an entrance test 'APICET' to select the students for their M.B.A. and M.C.A. courses. The test has 200 questions and has English and Telugu as mediums. The aspiring candidate must have a bachelor's degree and should score above 25% in APICET. Check JNTU Admission .

Application Process

  1. Candidates can apply for MBA and MCA program on the official website of APICET.
  2. After opening the online application portal, the candidates can pay the registration fee of Rs. 350/- through one of the two modes: AP online, or through debit/credit card.
  3. Application fees can be paid on the designated 1,732 online payment centers in Andhra Pradesh.
  4. Pay the application fee in these centers and receive a 'Transaction ID'.
  5. Login using this ID, fill and submit their application form.
  6. Debit/Credit Card*: In case the candidate wants to use net banking or debit/credit card, he/she can fill the form and then make the payment.
  7. After filling the form and uploading the scanned copies of their passport size photo and signature, the candidates can submit their forms.

Eligibility Criteria

MBA(2 Years)FinanceBachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years with at least 50% (45% for reserved categories) marks and Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects along with a minimum of 25% marks in APICET.

Note: For SC/ST and other reserved categories, no minimum qualifying percentage is required.

Admission Process

  • The selection for M.B.A. and M.C.A. courses is based on the rank/marks scored by the candidate in APICET.
  • After the declaration of APICET result, the University announces counselling dates for the eligible candidates who get selected on the basis of their ranks.
  • Holding a rank alone does not guarantee admission. The candidate has to appear for counselling and must have all documents verified.
  • In case there is a tie in the ranks, it is resolved by:
    1. Comparing the marks scored in Section – A.
    2. If the scores are still tied, the marks scored in Section – B are compared.
    3. If the tie persists, the candidate who is older will be selected.
