GITAM University B.Tech and B.Arch Admissions 2020: Eligibility, Application Process, Fees

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) offers B.Tech, B.Pharm and B.Arch programmes. Candidates can get admission to courses through the university entrance test known as GAT (UGTP)  abbreviated as “GITAM admission test”.

Registrations for admission is done by submitting duly filled-in applications, along with the processing fee of Rs. 1000/- (for male candidates) and Rs. 600/- (for female candidates) through demand draft (DD).  

GAT Application forms are available from November till March. 

GITAM also conducts separate counselling for admission based on JEE Main, TS EAMCET and AP EAMCET Scores.

Admission Eligibility

 First division or equivalent grade in 10+2 with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Admission Process

  • Selection of the candidates to the above mentioned courses is done on the basis of their performance in GAT (UGTP).
  • Candidate will also be selected on JEE Main/AP EAMCET/TS EAMCET Scores.

How To Apply

Candidate can get the application form by following modes:

  • Download the application form from official GITAM website.
  • Application forms can also be obtained from any branch of Union Bank of India, Indian Bank and Karur Vysya Bank throughout the country
  • Application form can also be obtained by post from Director-Admissions by sending a request letter containing the candidate’s name, along with the complete mailing address and DD of INR 150.
  • DD should be drawn in favour of ‘GITAM University’ and payable at Visakhapatnam

Sending Application Form:

  • Candidates can register by submitting the applications, along with the DD of INR 1000/- (for male candidates) and INR 600/- (for female candidates).

Enclosures for B.Tech:

  1. Date of Birth extract of SSC / ICSE/CBSE / Matriculation certificate
  2. 10 +2 certificate in the case of candidates appearing for UG programmes
  3. Caste Certificate issued by appropriate authority for claiming reservation under SC/ST
  4. Medical Certificate issued by appropriate authority for claiming under PH category

Enclosures for B.Pharm:

  1. X class or its equivalent pass certificate
  2. 10+2 / Intermediate marks statement & pass Certificate.
  3. Transfer, Study and Conduct Certificates.
  4. Integrated Community Certificate in case of SC/ST.
  5. Medical Certificate from not below the rank of a Civil Surgeon in case of PH Candidates
  6. Two sets of photo copies of the certificates stated above.
  7. Four passport size  recent colour photographs

Enclosures for B.Arch:

  1. Date of Birth extract of SSC / ICSE / CBSE / Matriculation certificate
  2. Intermediate / 10+2 certificate
  3. NATA Score Card or JEE (Main) B.Arch Score Card
  4. Migration Certificate and Transfer Certificate
  5. Caste Certificate issued by appropriate authority for claiming reservation under SC/ST
  6. Medical Certificate issued by appropriate authority for claiming under PH category

Candidates have to separately pay the processing fee at the time of counselling. Details of Counselling fee are as follows:
