NALSAR University BA.LLB Admissions 2020: Application form, Entrance Exam, Fees

National Academy of Legal Studies & Research (NALSAR) offers BA-LLB (Hons.) course with credit based system. Admission to this course is based on CLAT Scores.

Applicants need to fill CLAT exam form and while registering one has to choose NALSAR BA-LLB as his choice of institute and course for admission. Application form for the exam will be available from January mid week to April end week. 

You can apply by submitting the application fee of Rs. 4000/- (for unreserved/ OBC/ SAP category candidates) and Rs. 3500/- (for SC/ST category candidates).

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for NALSAR Hyderabad BA LLB (Hons.) Course is similar to that of CLAT UG exam. Below are the eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates must secure 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in 10+2 or equivalent.
  • Candidates who are appearing in qualifying examination in April/May of admission year are also eligible. 

Eligibility for Telangana Residents:

  • A person who studied in Telangana for 4 years and appears in Qualifying examination from same state; Or
  • A person who has resided in Telangana for at least 4 years in previous 7 years and also completed qualifying examination from same state. 

Admission Process

Selection of the candidate will be based on the rank in the merit list of CLAT 2020 examination.

If student of Telangana qualifies for the admission on All India basis then he will be alloted seat under All India Merit category only. In case, no seats are filled through Telangana category then they will be considered under All India category. 

Unfilled SC seats will be considered for ST students and vice versa. In case seats remained unfilled under reserved categories then those seats will be considered for All India Category. 

Direct Admission

Foreign Nationals does not required CLAT score. They can apply directly to the NALSAR Hyderabad.

  • Provisional password will be sent on provided e-mail id. 
  • Login to the website and enter the details.
  • Choose NALSAR as the institute and BALLB (Hons) as course for admission.
  • Upload photograph, signature, birth certificate and category certificate.
  • Submit the application fee through online mode/offline mode.
  • Online Fee submission modes are debit card/credit card/netbanking.
  • Offline mode for fee submission is e-challan.
  • Post fee submission, your registration will be successful.

Admission Reservation

30% seats are reserved for female candidates for admission to B.A, L.L.B (Hons) course. 15 seats are reserved for the foreign national candidates. Category wise seat distribution in B.A-LL.B course is given as following:

Hi Dhanunjaya, the university does not offers general LLB course. It offers LLB as integrated course viz BA-LLB only.
