National Law University (DSNLU) Vishakhapatnam LL.B and LL.M Admissions 2020: Eligibility, Application Form, Fees

Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU), recognized under the UGC Act 1956, was established by the government of Andhra Pradesh in 2008. In addition to the main Vishakhapatnam campus and two established centres at Kadapa and Nizamabad, the university has an upcoming campus in Sabbavaram. 

DSNLU offers the following 4 programmes (Undergraduate/ Postgraduate) to its students every year:

  • B.A. LL.B – (5 years)
  • LL.B. LL.M. – (4 years)
  • LL.M. – (1 year)
  • PG Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution – (1 year)

Only candidates who have passed the relevant qualifying examination can register for admission to the Integrated LL.B. LL.M. course. Selection of the candidate for admission to LL.B. LL.M. programme will be done on the basis of marks scored in the screening test, to be conducted by the university. Read More: DSNLU Admission

Candidates can register themselves for admission to the LL.B. LL.M. course by submitting the concerned application form along with the fee amount of Rs. 2000/- through demand draft (DD) within the stipulated time.

How To Apply

  • Candidates can download the prescribed application form available at the official university website
  • Duly filled-in applications should be submitted along with the processing fee amount of Rs. 2000/- through Demand Draft (DD). DD should be drawn on any nationalized bank, in favour of ‘Registrar, Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University’ payable at Visakhapatnam
  • Completed applications, along with the fee and necessary enclosures, should be submitted, in person or by post, within the stipulated time to the following address:

Enclosures:

  1. Proof of Age
  2. Marks statement of X Standard, Marks statement of XII Standard / Intermediate or
  3. Equivalent / UG from any recognized University.
  4. T.C. & C.C. issued by the Head of the Institution last studied.
  5. Latest Caste Certificate/Income Certificate/Disability Certificate in case of SC/ST/BC Differently Abled Person.
  6. Local Candidate Certificate
  7. Self-addressed envelope.
  8. One passport size photograph

Admission Eligibility

  • Candidate should have passed under-graduate course (10+2+3) or (10+2+4) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 55% aggregate marks (50% in case of reserved categories, i.e. SC/ST/Differently Abled Person)
  • Candidates appearing for final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the dual degree LL.B. LL.M. course
  • Candidate should be less than 25 years of age (in case of general/ BC candidates) and 27 years (in case of SC/ ST/ differently abled person)

Reservation

Of the total intake, 10 seats are reserved for Foreign Nationals/ NRI sponsored candidates and the remaining 50 seats will be filled as per the rules of Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Admission Process

Selection of the candidate to the above mentioned course will be done through screening test, group discussion and interview, to be conducted by the university.

Hi Versha, You may please read this given below for getting the Eligibility for LLB Course:-
