National Law University (DSNLU) Vishakhapatnam PG Diploma Admissions 2019: Courses, Ranking, Fees

Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU), recognized under the UGC Act 1956, was established by the government of Andhra Pradesh in 2008. Along with the main Vishakhapatnam campus and two established centres at Kadapa and Nizamabad, the university has an upcoming campus in Sabbavaram. Read More: DSNLU Admission 2019

The University offers the following 4 programmes (Undergraduate/ Postgraduate) to its students every year:

  • B.A. LL.B – (5 years)
  • LL.B. LL.M. – (4 years)
  • LL.M. – (1 year)
  • PG Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution (1 year)

In addition to 2 Integrated and 1 Postgraduate programme, the university also offers PG Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution (PGD-ADR).  Only candidates having completed graduation can register for the PGD programme. Few seats are also reserved for the reserved candidates in accordance with rules of Andhra Pradesh State Government.

Candidates can register for the course by filling the application form and submitting the required processing fee, on or before June 10, 2019 (tentative). Admission to the above programme is done on the basis of the interview, to be conducted by the university.

Admission Eligibility

Post Graduate Diploma in Alternate Dispute Resolution [ADR]

PG Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution (PGD-ADR) - 1 year

  • Candidate should possess graduate degree from a recognized university
  • Professionals such as Advocates/ Company Secretaries/ Chartered Accountants/ Cost Accountants/ Engineers/ Architects are also eligible for admission to the course
  • Managers/ Executives in Companies with Bachelor’s Degree and Psychologists/Psychiatrists with Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology are also eligible for admission

How To Apply

Post Graduate Diploma in Alternate Dispute Resolution [ADR]

Candidates must apply for admission through online registration process and submit completed applications before June 10, 2019 (tentative). All fields in the application form should be correctly and completely filled-in with the relevant information.

Candidate can download the application form along with the prospectus from the university website. Duly filled-in applications should be submitted along with the processing fee of Rs. 1000/- through demand draft (DD) drawn in favour of Registrar, DSNLU and payable at Visakhapatnam.

Candidate must enclose the following documents along with the application form:

  1. Community Certificate (For OC candidates community certificate not required)   
  2. Certificates for Special categories, if required     
  3. Graduate Certificate and Joint declaration form, if required
  4. NOC from the concerned department, in case the candidate is working.
  5. Passport size photograph
  6. Statement of purpose (500 words)

Admission Process

Post Graduate Diploma in Alternate Dispute Resolution [ADR]

Selection of the candidates to the PG Diploma course shall be made on the basis of their performance in the interview, to be conducted by the university itself.


Course fee:

The candidate is required to pay the entire course fee of Rs. 29,000/- at the time of admission. It includes Tuition Fee, Examination Fee, Library Fee, Library Deposit and Facility Fee.
