Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) offers admission to the Post-graduation programs under various courses such as MBA with 4 specializations, M.Sc. with 3 specializations, MPH, MA (Distance Education Mode), MA with 5 specializations, M.Com and M.Lib.S.
YCMOU has around 183 study centers. Admission to MPH and MBA is done on the basis of CET conducted by the university. Selection to M.Com, M.Lib, MA, and M.Sc. is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Note- Candidates possessing a valid score in MAHCET/CAT/MAT need not appear for YCMOU CET.
The candidates can apply for YCMOU MBA by filling in its online application form.
After the final submission, they have to collect the payment receipt and submit it to the Study Centre for confirmation of admission.
Apart from MBA, the university offers an M.Sc. under the discipline of Agricultural Extension, Mathematics, and Environmental Science, MPH, M.Com, M.L.IS, and M.A. under the following disciplines-

Candidates must apply for admission through online registration process and submit completed application before the last date. All fields in the application form should be correctly and completely filled-in with the relevant information.
The application forms can be filled online by visiting the official website of YCMOU. After completion of online registration, students should download the receipt of online fee (INR 100) payment. Final admission is offered only after the submission of receipt at the designated study center.

For those programs in which there are limited seats, some of the candidates are to be denied admission. The reservation policy of the State of Maharashtra is used to allocate the seats to the candidates. A merit list based on the criteria as mentioned in the additional information of the specific program is prepared. 50% seats are earmarked to unreserved (UR) candidates. This means that allocation to these seats is done on the basis of a high score in the merit list without consideration to the cast or category of reservation. The remaining fifty percent of seats are filled according to the following table.
